How I Started:
Started back in grade 10 training for hockey/football. Of course, back then and pretty much all through high school, I didn't know shit about proper training/nutrition, so results were limited.
I'm no bodybuilder though. I'm just an well rounded athlete, fitness enthusiast and someone who loves to stay in shape.
Why I Love It:
Well first and foremost, I just like being active. I like challenging myself, setting goals and then crushing them. It gives me a good sense of personal achievement.
Of course, there are extrinsic rewards such as taking your shirt off at the beach and having girls gawk : ) But six-pack abs won't get you anywhere if you don't have a good personality. So with that said, I train for myself.
How I Stay Motivated:
At this point of the game, I don't really need motivation any more. Fitness has become a way of life for me now, as has healthy eating. Any other lifestyle would be strange, and I just couldn't imagine it. Going to the gym or running outside in the sun isn't a question of motivation - it's just another part of my day, like going to work.
BB Accomplishments:
Well I don't compete and don't consider myself a bodybuilder so I haven't really accomplished anything in that respect.

I currently hit the weights 3 days per week, with the last weight day being more of a 'total body' day. I'm soon to change it though to possibly doing circuit training on all 3 days to work on my endurance and to help with the cut.
