So i started deadlifting again.  I'll never use straps cuz i would rather gain the grip strength than worry about lifting more weight, but what i would kill for right now would be some lifting chalk.  God i love that stuff.  My college gym had it on hand all the time, but alas i am no longer...

Do you really run a 5K a day? Are you going for time every time or take it easy sometimes? I would break down in a couple of days with a regimen like that -- I need lots of easy days, but then I'm older. What's the next race on the calendar?

THANKS so much for the positive words. It's always nice to hear those kinds of things after such a LONG journey. Good luck to you, your goals, and the new year for you!

Great job! I completed two sprint-triathlons this year. Absolutely loved the whole process. I could never manage an Olympic one though.

Don't see many triathletes on here. I am doing my first on April 27 in Florida. I am using my tri training as cardio but still lift like a bodybuilder (Heavy). I hope I can still gain muscle and lose the bodyfat.
