in order to excel at sports I needed to gain strength and speed.
Why I Love It:
It keeps me normal. All of the day's anxiety can be lost in one workout.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't really have a specific motivation. Just want to be happy and healthy.
BB Accomplishments:
I am a 27 year old ex-professional athlete turned business owner. I began training at a young age in order to build a healthy body that would allow me to compete on a high level throughout the baseball season. Now days I have my hands full running a clothing line that focuses on the skater/snowboarder demographic. I find that physical fitness remains important in my life and it allows me to keep up with all the younger guys up on the mountain and in the parks.
I want to be healthy, happy, and with a constant peace of mind. That?s the theory behind mttheory.
Immediately following the end of my baseball career I decided to take a break from the gym and working out. Not only did I see a negative change in my physical form, but I also noticed a change in my mental/emotional well being. I became highly irritable and edgy in situations that I would normally handle with a level head. I quickly realized that I needed to continue working out if only to release the stress that builds throughout the week. Doing so has kept me balanced and has played in important role in the progression of my company.
I used to be highly unaware of the impact that nutrition had on a person?s mind and body. I would work out and go home to a large pizza partnered with a couple cans of soda. After months and months of hard work in the gym, I couldn?t figure out why I wasn?t getting the results that I desired. My father introduced me to BodyBuilding.com a while back and they helped me select the correct products that led to the achievement of all my fitness goals. I continue to learn so much about nutrition through the combination of the website along with the advice I receive from my friends on BodySpace.
Bodybuilding.com carries all of my favorite products and they are always up to date on breaking new products that I?m interested in trying.
