Mar, 2001
How I Started:
Ate like a football player even though did not play anymore, so you can see how that can lead to mass weight gain. I decided after seeing pictures of myself that a change was needed.
Why I Love It:
I feel great, look way better than I have and it makes me feel like I did when I was playing football.
How I Stay Motivated:
I remind myself that I have a long way ahead of me still in reaching my goals and need to keep pushing. It has gotten to the point that I feel bad, angered and moody when I don't go to the gym. The way it makes me look, feel and the compliments I get from friends when they haven't seen me in a while is motivation.

5 Knee Surgeries? That is very inspiring and something to motivate anyone who says that they can't exercise or do what they love due to surgeries? I had 1 and thought I was hurting.
You had to scrape and fight and be so humble as to accept rides from your dad to go to law school and even then you turned it into a positive and became hooked on the gym. Def. someone that inspires.
Can anyone tell me what they think of the pre workout supplements: NO Explode (I have been using it for a long time but was told recently that it's just caffeine and the other ingredients are garbage), NO Shotgun (Heard good things), and Gunpowder (Have only seen it at Max Muscle and the sales...
Hey Mark! Thanks for the friendship invitation. Good luck with your goals. I hope your gout is under control. I hear that's terribly painful...like childbirth painful! Happy Thanksgiving!
haha football and karoke- sounds like you had a good weekend, unless you are a UT fan. hahahaha. mine was good though- crunch time right before jamaica!
I'll keep that in mind :) I am sure you aren't the only would who is asking for that - whoever perfects that will be set for life :) I love the themed photo shoots, we shall see :)
Going alright. Finally broke the 500 bench. Taking a little time off right now but hoping to do a bench meet in December and a full meet in the spring. How's everything goig for you?
Well that's great...glad it's working :) Yeah, there's all sorts of different jumps you can do besides the couple of basic ones. There's the boxer's skip, knee-ups, cross-overs, double-jumps...just google or youtube it...it's pretty much endless LOL I usually do each jump for like 5 minutes and then move on to another one...I don't just stay in one place either...music helps a lot too :)
