Overall Goal: Right now I am almost 6 months pregnant and my main goal is to maintain my muscle mass so I can recover quickly after delivery!

When I Started:
Jan, 2000
How I Started:
I got started lifting toward the end of college. I was always active in sports while in school, but it wasn't until a few years out of college and VERY overweight that I discovered I LOVED to lift and workout :) I went from 215lbs down to 140lbs and felt fabulous!
Why I Love It:
The feeling I get...there is NOTHING else like it, well almost nothing ;) I love lifting until my muscles quit, I love the feeling after I have a good long run.
How I Stay Motivated:
My girls! I have a 2 year old and a 1 year old, they are truly my inspiration, I want to be in shape for myself and for them.
BB Accomplishments:
None...yet! I plan to accomplish a few in the very near future after the pregnancies are over!

Right now I am almost 6 months pregnant and my main goal is to maintain my muscle mass so I can recover quickly after delivery!
Goal (Long):
Right now I do not have a weight loss goal. I am pregnant as a surrogate mother and this makes 3 pregnancies in the last 3 years. What I am shooting for is to maintain my muscle mass and keep my cardio up. I am hoping this aids with a easy delivery and a faster recovery time. Then i'll be all about losing some weight and hitting the weights, big time!
Golds Gym Ocean City is right across the street from the condos we are staying in. So now my anxiety is gone, I can vacation and still get in my workouts :) WoooHooo!!
How's the pregnancy or have you had the baby yet? I had my daugther 9 days ago and I started my nutrition plan 8 days ago and I got on the treadmill yesterday! YEAH! I hope your recovery process is quick!!
Oh good, there is another preggo mom out there! :) How far along are you? I have at most 3 weeks left (I'm getting induced). Good luck with your pregnancy!!! Good luck maintaining that muscle mass, lifting while pregnant is VERY frustrating because no matter what you do your body does what it wants. I worked out the entire time while I was pg with my son and my recovery was VERY fast, I was back to light lifting and walking/jogging in 2 weeks of my delivery.
Hey girl!! Thanks.. You as well!!!
Looks like you are hitting it hard even with a little one on the way!! That's cool... :) My wife and I wish we had one on the way.. maybe in the future. :) but right now it's about making our day spa a success!! :)
and the gym.. sheww I'm tired....
Hope you are having a great day and put your feet up!!

Thanks. It looks like a long road. But you did practically the same thing. I just can't believe you're a surrogate. My one baby girl... well I let that pregnancy destroy me. Good luck with your goals! You're proof 215 to 140 is possible. Thanks. :)
