When I Started:
Sep, 2008
How I Started:
I have been diligently working out for over a decade, a fitness fanatic mostly working out at Golds Gym Venice during my entire 20s. However, since I had my two kids, I kept using the "I just had kids" excuse for a little too long. I realized when my son turned 2 that he wasn't "just" born, and I needed to get back into it.
Why I Love It:
I love the extra energy I get, and the high from seeing progress in your body.
How I Stay Motivated:
Reading everything I can get my hands on; Oxygen Magazine, Women's Health and every other book or magazine that inspire me. In addition, I have taped a clip out of the best abs I've seen on a woman on my bathroom mirror. It keeps me motivated every single day!
BB Accomplishments:
In spite of not looking like I used to, I was still happy to hear that I maintained 17% body fat even during my non-working out phase.
This was the moment of truth; when my former pride, my arms and shoulders, now suddenly looked flabby and shapeless in this picture. I knew I needed to get back into shape!
Working on those arms with a new routine my new trainer, Ilona Maj, designed for me. I have 12 weeks to get back in shape!

Bounce up and down with energy. .... Errrrrrr.
So yep, I'm tired. Determined and disciplined, but definitely tired. So much for the unbridled amounts...
I knew you were going to get hooked! It will help you along in your journey:) You are back Maggie! You are no longer just a mommy but a beautiful fit woman!
Lots in common! I also started working out to lose that "baby" fat:) Good luck. I am sure you will do well! BB.com seems to be a great motivator. I have enjoyed it so far, though I am new too.
