My Nutrition Program View My Full Nutrition Program

I have lost all of my pregnancy weight gain plus some by eating clean, cutting out alcohol and refined carbs.

Breakfast 7.30am- Glass of warm water with lemon, 1/2 cup (uncooked weight) oats, half scoop BSN syntha 6, coffee with dash of soy milk, Vital Greens vitamin drink.

Then I go to the gym...

Snack 10am- (following gym workout) - 1 scoop BSN Syntha 6 and a banana. 

Lunch 12.30pm- Salad consisting of lettuce, tomato, cucumber, 1/4 avocado, 70g brown rice, 125g tin of tuna slices (John West in Springwater, balsamic vinegar.

Coffee after lunch with dash of soy milk.

Snack 3pm - two whole eggs boiled or poached and 8 strawberries OR a protein bar and a whole orange or piece of fruit OR one whole egg, 10 raw almonds, piece of fruit.  

Dinner 5.30pm - chicken breast or piece of fish/salmon (cooked in oven wrapped in a piece of foil - no oils), served with salad or steamed veg eg baby spinach leaves, lettuce, green beans, broccoli, carrot etc.

Supper 8pm - 100g low fat organic yoghurt (I like Barambah best) with half scoop BSN syntha 6 or one scoop BSN dessert protein.

At least three litres of water per day.  

I do a lot of running around with two small children so sometimes I always carry healthy snacks that are high protein.  I take raw almonds, mini protein bars, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, small tins of tuna and a plastic fork.  This way I never get overly hungry and make poor food choices.

 

If I'm out and have to buy something I'll get a piece of roast chicken from the supermarket deli or a small pack of sashimi (raw salmon slices), one brown rice sushi handroll, a small tin of flavoured tuna and a piece of fruit...something like that. 

 

I love thai food and curries so make my own CLEAN and healthy versions without all the oils.   I also love a good bolognese sauce (I'm Italian, I need my fix ;)) and buy very lean beef mince and cook my own packed with grated carrot, celery and zucchini served on steamed broccoli instead of pasta!  This is usually my special treat meal on a sunday night.

 

I try my hardest to only buy organic, free range meats and only the best quality fruit and vegetables.  It's expensive but worth it. 

 

I occasionally have a little dessert once a week or a glass of wine but keep the portion small or I end up feeling sick.

 

There are no excuses to eat poorly!

msadelaide Really didn't feel like getting out of bed today...raining and cold...but went and did my chest and back plus 30 mins cardio :)
