Truthfully- I didn't like the type of men I attracted. I have always been a little larger and have been able to carry my weight well, but I decided that in 2008, I wasn't going to settle. I was curious. Curious to see IF I could really be fit. The next thing I figured out: I have a beautiful inside beauty. But for some reason, the outside just didn't match. I understand we are human and very visual. Therefore it was time to have my outside beauty match the inside.
Why I Love It:
I am putting myself first. Taking a stand that, I, Alicia, am worth it! (Okay, and for the short time that I feel like superwoman with super stregnth, while benching 75lbs..lol)
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't. Hence why I started this. It seems that when you go to the gym you work out a little harder, because even though there are people there doing their own workout (totally oblivious to you), the thought that they 'might' be watching you, makes you push harder. So if everybody can see my progress, it will help me push harder.
BB Accomplishments:
I MADE IT IN THE MOST VIEWED PROFILES IN 24HRS FOR WOMEN!!

This was at my 21st bday.
CLARIFICATION: I DIDN'T START WORKING OUT IN JULY 2007, BUT IN JAN 2008, I JUST THOUGHT THIS PIC WOULD REALLY SHOW HOW FAR I HAVE COME.
I have a picture in my mind of what I want to look like. I want the image in the mirror to match! I have no "ideal weight", as this is the lightest I've ever been. I don't think of my body as a sex symbol, but more as art. I love crafting my muscles, and taking pictures that are artistic!
I am 5'4, and have a short torso, so I would like to lean out so I appear taller.
Update- Day 10 no cheating, with 8 meals a day, 12-1400 calories, fat/sugar/carbs all low, no scale, and thirsty as hell! Weight training and cardio 3-5x a week.
Besides wanting to eat everything in sight, I can honestly say I am doing okay. Even coldstone's didn't tempt me (you know...
ive lost 12lbs since january so im pretty excited about that. i also just started to count weight watchers points so that'll help keep me on track. it took me awhile to get into a good work out work routine but i think i finally have it and hopefully ill keep on losing! i want to lose another 15-20lbs.
