When I Started:
2003
How I Started:
My dad brought me into my basement with a small bench and few dumbells, once I started seeing some results and kept going and going and researching and researching.
Why I Love It:
How about this. I love it because it challenges my mind and my body and pushes me to levels I never thought I could get it. I also love bodybuilding because it has given me the opportunity to share with people my successes to help them both feel better about themself through self accomplishment and seeing actual physical results.
How I Stay Motivated:
Always remember... there is someone out there always training hard then you so keep going.
Haven't been around lately. I took an entire week off. My body was completely beat up. I was down to 162 lbs because of tons and tons of full body circuits and strict dieting. I took a week off from the gym and did alittle bit of cheating on my diet... up to 175 lbs!
My training is constantly changing... the number of days during week of training, as well as volume, and intensity levels, I also utilize full body HIT workouts on occasion. but this is currently a "rough" outline of my regiment...
6 days on 1 day off (cardio 20 mins, HIIT) 1 large and 1...
Just read your blog and it answered all my questions. You gave me some good ideas to switch things up. The only problem with the circuit training is hogging a few pieces of equipment while supersetting. People get in the way :)
I may have to give circuit training a try to switch things up, especially the weeks I can't get in the gym like I want to. How many sets of each piece of equipment do you do and how many times per week do you do this?
Hey Mike! Today was chest/triceps and shoulders for me. My lifts went up by 10lbs for certain exercises. Still struggling with the dumbbell side laterals for my shoulders though. The workout today was fun overall.
Hey Mike,
Was checking up on how you are doing man? I hope you having a better weekend than I am! Your mostlikely sleeping in the gym with those powerful, killer workouts! LOL! Well just checking up on you to make sure your working hard!
