How I Started:
I have been working out most of my life. I have taken a whole new approach to working out this year watching my diet and approaching my goals much more seriously.
Why I Love It:
The feeling of being healthy. I love playing outdoors and working out allows me to be ready to board/ski down Whistler like mad, canoe, be a tri-athlete, do anything I want all day long.
How I Stay Motivated:
Life motivates me. Be all that you can be. I dont need motivation to go to the gym and live healthy its what I'm about.

I want to transform my body to look more like Wolverine. I also want to increase sports performance and get a serious time in a traithlon in the spring of 10.
Goal (Long):
Gain 10 lbs muscle
Fat 10%
Get a swimming coach and maintain over 4000M of swimming per week.
Cycle over 175K in a day.
Run with no pain.
Learn the nutrition program that works for me. That means maintaining lean muscle while growing and doing endurance sports.
Get that wolverine look.
Weight Goal:

Hi Dave! Which diet are you referring too? Right now my diet is different from the ones here - but in general I get my fiber from ground flax seed, oats, beans, and a lot of raw veges - spinach etc.

no just niagra falls...wow im jealous! we have lots of gyms but none for gymnastics..the pylometrics and conditioning you will learn will be mind boggling...you will love it if you join
well im a sports nutrition major..the way i learned it is that you deplete yourself of all carbs in your muscles for a week or so and then the few days before performance you carb load like crazy...plus i did this for gymnastics and my meets were always explosive!
adult gymnastics? i wish my town had adult gymnastics but they dont..im too old to workout in my gym...i would be working out with 10 yr olds..its amazing the muscles that you dont use until you do gymnastics!
no im somewhat afraid of water...i can swim but when i was 11 i almost drowned...anyways..you run last right? or is it first? bike, swim, run? do you carb load?
