How I Started:
My husband is big into fitness...and I am not - or haven't been as you can tell by my picture. But he is in Iraq right now and I thought it'd be good opportunity to make these changes that I need to make - for my health and for my confidence.
Why I Love It:
I do LOVE it now - which is still kind of a surprise me. First, it's such a stress reliever. I have my 3 kids and my sisters 4 all day every day - so going to the gym is such a good stress reliever. I also really enjoy seeing the progress I am making. I am getting stronger and I have way more cardio endurance than I used to. I like to see myself improving.
How I Stay Motivated:
Alot of things keep me motivated. My husband - he is very encouraging and motivating. My kids - they are young and I need to keep up with them. My own selfish desires to look cute and hott again! hahaha.

Goal (Long):
Well, in 5 years I have gotten married and had three kids. I gained quite a bit of weight with the babies and never made any real effort to lose it. Now I am. My husband is in Iraq and my first goal is to lose about 40 -50 pounds before he comes home in Feb. I have already lost about 20 I think. I haven't been very good at keeping track which is why my husband is recommending i do this. I would like to lose all the weight and be nicely toned when he returns home for good in Sept.

I don't want to look like any certain celebrity. I just want to be happy and confident in my own body. I want to be toned and in shape...not stick thin.

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
ha...I think it's funny - and no I don't do it. But they are working hard and that's good! Good for them.
