Hi! Nice to hear from you. So you're going on a trip? How exciting! We just booked our spring break trip to Colorado for some skiing... great surge of motivation to kick my diet in gear!! How long before your trip?

Amazing body! Such an inspiration! Do you have a journal posted anywhere - I would love to know what your nutrition and workouts were like.

Yeah, I miss fruits and milk on Keto. Training is a simple upper/lower split, aiming for 6 days a week, with at least one day devoted to cardio only. Except for the days that I teach aerobics, I'm rarely in the gym for more than an hour at a time.

No, not on Keto exactly. I've been looking at the 'cut diet' also, it is also low carb. I'm using principles from both but are not strictly using either right now. How are things going for you?

Unfortunately no. I did it for 4 weeks, but this was my first Keto and I'm still learning. A lot of the aspects of the diet make sense though so I'm planning to go back to it to get rid of any excess after the holidays.

Yes thats the tricky part - the fat. Incorporate oils into your cooking and use full fat cheeses and dressings with salads and such. Believe it or not, you will want to choose fattier cuts of meat also. Fish and nuts also have excellent fats in them.

Lots of meat, cheese, dairy (full fat), and fish. You can eat so much of this stuff and still lose weight - but satiety factor (feeling full) is so strong that it really curbs your appetite. The nutrition forum has an entire link devoted to Keto, check it out!
