If it could've gone wrong, it did go wrong. The worst thing that happened was when my spray tan started running while on stage. It looked like someone threw a bucket of paint on me. The NPC event organizers also told all the competitors during the morning briefing and without prior warning that NOBODY, including competitors, would be allowed in the auditorium without a $25 ticket. Even standing room required a ticket purchase. I met a ton of cool people though that were incredibly supportive. I learned a lot this time around and will definitely compete again. |
