I was always into Heroic caracters - Bodybuilding helped me become stronger after the tragic loss of my father and brother as a kid.
Why I Love It:
I was a street dancer/breaker before bodybuilding and started to get in trouble as a kid...once I found bodybuilding I saw a new way of proofing myself to be the best I can be - it has changed my life forever being the main reason why I immigrated to the US in 1991. Bodybuilding has given me the oppertunity to live a dream I was never thought possible living in Germany.
How I Stay Motivated:
I always think of the times when I trained back with Mike Mentzer in Venice. I wanna carry on his torch and proof that HIT works - I am now 37 and still have not reached my full potential - look out for me in 08 - coming at ya bigger and harder!
Just letting you all know that I am now getting ready to compete in Musclemania/Superbody contest in Miami (June19th) ! - I will be adding pics here on my Bodyspace as well as will have the entire Pre-contest prep. documented with Videos, training entries and diet statistics in its entire...
I am training H.I.T. style - my workouts are super intense and very brief (15-20mins!x3 per week) - All my workout logs are available on my website at www.markusreinhardt.com - along with Video clips!
Things have been really going well ... got a CPT {NASM] cert since I last chatted with you. Working to continue thicken up - the never ending project. Still using concepts I learned from you and Mentzer's book. Glad to see you are doing a show soon. I need to get to a show and check that all out some time. Thanks for the contact bro.
Hi Markus, hows it going? Thought i recognised you i've got the HIT training video you was in with Mike. I added you the other day so hope you accept my invite.
Good luck with your goals
Hey MR,
I appreciate the comment. I put them in a thread and they were shot down pretty good. But..oh well!! I though I made pretty good development/thickness in such a short time. I am feeling a little overtrained right now, so I may take some time off and go back to it for a while. Again..thank you for the compliment..MUCH APPRECIATED!!

You are living proof that HIT works naturally,I started using HIT after reading M.Mentzers book recently and my strength has increased by 15% on most lifts at this early stage and the techniques are fascinating.Congratulations on your website and all your achievements.
I aim to contact you by phone later this year and would like to come over to US next year, for I would love to meet you in person.Robert Leigh, 31 Manchester, UK.
Hey Markus! I started using the workout tracker to post my progress. Found it a bit frustrating to use in some regards, but the numbers are up in particular for you to track things. Cool!
