When I Started:
May, 2007
How I Started:
I was disgusted with myself after viewing a picture of me taken at a friend's wedding on May 27, 2007. I looked at myself in the mirror and told myself the truth, that I was FAT. I was spending too much money on doctor visits and medicines, because of my weight. I realized that dieting along won't work. I lost a sense of my true identity, of who I really am.
Why I Love It:
I WANT TO BE STRONGER, FITTER, YOUNGER, HEALTHIER, HAPPIER than I AM YESTERDAY.
How I Stay Motivated:
By recognizing I am much more then I am demonstrating. I raised my standard.

At 175 Lbs, I experienced a lot of health problems, including back problem, and stomach problem. I was constantly tired, and I grew weaker and weaker each days. There were no life in me, no life in this body.
I've always wanted to wear these sleeveless muscle T-Shirt, but never got the nerve too. It's until August the 31 of 2008, that I gain enough confident in myself to put one on. I am happy, because I've achieved one of my short-term goal.
My short term goal is to look great for my birthday on November 23.
Goal (Long):
False beliefs caused me to be over-weighted, weak in the physical body as well as the mind, low self-esteem. It was truly in the moment of decision, and the willingness to change that lead to where I am today. I want to live a life filled with PASSION, to have the BODY FOR LIFE, so that I can FULFILL MY PURPOSE IN LIFE.

A friend dropped by the house on Tuesday for a visit, and saw my progress pictures on the fridge and he asked what exercises to do to reduce weight. He was surprised to learn that not only he needs to start to exercise but he must start to eat healthy, instead of eating foods that everyone...
hi quang ;) what a great transformation you've made.. sometimes you really have to listen to your body and if you are that down on energy, go for a better day. Have you tried the b12 energy mini drinks? Maybe its all in my head, but I feel energized after having one :)
well my meals and exercises are interupted. I m trying to bulk but not very consistent withmy meal plan. Actually i dont see much fat on your abs already. Try this, use alot of omega 3 supplement, it has help me to shed and my BF. cheers.

Yes I know what you mean. There are fat foods everywhere. NY has great quality restaurants and great resources so it is probably easier to get a healthy meal and stay fit here than say in Texas where I can't seem to find a clean vegetarian meal or a fresh grilled piece of fish that is not drowned in butter.
When warming up, I use light weights..with whatever machine I am going to use or routine I plan on doing, I will do a couple sets of about 10 reps..and then start the routine..Always make sure to stretch as well..I stretch before training for about 5-7 mins.

I've tried it but it's not good for my carpal tunnel. So I try to stay away from anything that stresses out my wrist/grip. What's the latest with your training?
