My Workout Philosophy View My Full Workout Program

I work out Monday-Friday (Body Part a Day). Rest on the weekends (Sat as a "Make Up" Day if Needed)

Monday – Back/Forearms

Tuesday – Shoulders/Abs

Wednesday – Arms

Thursday – Legs/Forearms

Friday – Chest/Abs

Saturday – Cardio or Circuit Training/Make up day if needed

Sunday – Rest

My Nutrition Program View My Full Nutrition Program

I try to keep my diet as simple as possible. Makes it easier with my busy schedule.

Breakfast:

1 Cup Egg Whites (1 whole egg)

1/2 Cup of Oatmeal

1 Tbsp of Natty PB (In the oatmeal)


Snack: 

Optimum Gold Standard Whey (1-2 Scoops) w/ 1/4 Cup of Oatmeal


Brunch:

1 Can of Tuna w/ 1 oz of Chicken

2 Cups of Salad

5 Almonds

1 Apple


Lunch:

5 oz of Chicken or Fish

1/2 Cup of Sweat Potatoes

1 Cup of Veggies


Post Workout:

Optimum Gold Standard Whey (1-2 Scoops)

1 Large Banana


Dinner:

6 oz of Fish and Chicken

2 Cups of Salad

1/2 Cup of Cottage Cheese

5 Almonds


Night:

Optimum Gold Standard Casein Shake (1-2 scoops)

1 tbsp of Natty PB


Average Overall Stats:

Calories - 2,226, Protein - 208, Carbs - 200, Fat - 65

My Motivational Mindset (what works for me)

I stay motivated by my children. I want to set a postive example on how they should live thier lives. It is very important to me that I set an example not only for them, but also my troops in the Air Force. I love the way I feel after a good workout or when eating clean. I log on to Bodybuilding .com almost on a daily basis...the people and info you can gain is awesome! I remind myself all the time how tired and lazy I was when I was eating unhealthy and not working out...this helps to keep me on track and stay focused.  I have also found that setting short term goals (12 Weeks or so) gives me something to strive for. Once I meet that goal(s) it is time to set some more....ALWAYS strive for progress, not perfection.

I figured i wouldn't be able to put as big a load on my tris after using them during bench so i decided to seperate them. How do you feel as far as strenght going into your tricep exercises? Gonna keep up the cardio before / after which I use to do none until spring. Trying to build those lacking areas while maintaining minimal fat retention. May 9, 2012 11:18am
