Well, not sure I have started. It comes and goes in fits as I keep reminding myself I should be living healthier. Hoping to make 2008 a serious body improvement year.

I don't; that's why I signed up here. Maybe the public posting of a workout blog, and any encouragement and accountability from those who spot the blog, will keep me going more.

What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
Well, that's perhaps one of the reasons I haven't worked out much - lack of an effective motivator. But there are two things that do sometimes get me out of my office and off to the gym: Passing myself in a mirror and seeing the profile of my overweight torso; and seeing pictures of others who have become totally fit and ripped.Well, that's perhaps one of the reasons I haven't worked out much - lack of an effective motivator. Why I like this video: I was the editor - Konstantin sent me a bunch of footage and asked if I'd do something creative with it. I'm not aiming to be as big as he is, but he's still an inspiration to get in better shape.
Body Double - Carwash

Why I like this video: I made it, and the Yoder Twins are great guys. Friendly, outgoing, dedicated Christians as well as dedicated bodybuilders.
Trailer: Lakeside

Why I like this video: I made it, and working with Matt Recknagel was a great experience. He's pleasant, out-going, not at all the cocky stereotype I expected. In between shooting scenes he talked a lot about how to improve my own body. If I lived in White Lake, I'd definitely hire him as my personal trainer.
Buddy, just wanna wish u success man! It CAN be done, just stick to it day in day out and educate yourself on the subject. When you find the right balance for your body between eat/lift/rest u will start growing and shedding bf% fairly easy. Hang in there! G.
I've seen some people make big transformations in as little as 3months but for the rest of us, it takes much longer. Accepting the fact that it can take a while and mistakes will be made, will help in the long run. It has taken me a long time to figure out what my body responds to best for optimal results. In fact, I'm still trying to figure it out!
Welcome to BB.com and congratulations on making the decision to get fit. Always challenge yourself to be the best that you can be. Combine a good nutrition plan with some form of cardio and weight lifting and you will be amazed at the changes and the speed at which they can occur. I did the Body for Life program, which is for a total of 12 weeks and received amazing results. You may want to give it a look-see. Let me know if there is anything that I can do. Stay strong and all the best.
Thanks heaps for your comment! If you're having trouble staying motivated this is a great place to help. Once you post your stats up/pics and look at them they are what makes you want to improve! Good luck in 08!
