How I Started:
I just got into doing weights to try and get fit and hopefully look good on the beach in the summer.
Why I Love It:
I love the burn from a good session in the gym whether it's cardio or weights. It's the sense of achievement when you've pushed yourself a bit further and beaten your best.
How I Stay Motivated:
I look at magazines, read other blogs and profiles for tips and new ways to train and I just try to keep my work out fresh. 3rd August 2009 - Health Check at LA Fitness Weight - 71.7kg BF % - 24.2 BMI - 25.6 Rest Meta Rate - 1673 Kcals Skeletal Muscle - 37.9% Visceral Fat - 8 Blood Pressure - 131/87 Resting Heart Rate - 43 VO2 Max - 52 (good) So all in all things are looking good but got to work on getting my BF down, I was shocked how high it was but then it was done on a machine not calipers!! But this now gives me an amount to lower to hopefully in 6 weeks this will have gone down!! (I am on holiday tho in that time....)

Normally between 8 to 15 reps - depending on the plan I am working out to at the time.

Yeah good mate thanks, ah a few pounds over Christmas is nowt...call it bulking up lol. Got a voucher for USN so just ordered a load of stuff from there ready to hit it hard again from the 4th, back at the parents at the mo in the lake district so no gym nearby...probably good for a rest to be honest! Wii fits are great, amazing how much the workouts kill you!

There's really no moderation when it comes to sugar, lol! I bet if you cut it cold turkey it would be painful for a week, but the results would be reward in and of itself - very hard to do though - I walk the walk, so I understand and we girls love our chocolate, lol

My year was great academically and also training - two bad car accidents didn't impede my progress too much, and I am excited about the new year - continuing on.
