I originally started lifting in high school for football like a lot of people. Got really into it in college, but through a series of injuries over the last 10 years, my training has been spotty. Now, I'm finally healthy and have a lifting partner that I can count on. Looking forward to seeing what I can do.
Why I Love It:
I enjoy being able to push weight that I couldn't move before. I love feeling the burn 2 days later from a good workout. It's also a great stress reliever.
How I Stay Motivated:
My wife and kids, I want to be healthy and strong for them. My job, obviously. I don't understand how people in this type of work don't feel the need to stay in some kind of shape. I don't want people to wonder if I'm going to be able to back them up after I sprint down a hall when they call for help. Seeing the changes that my body's going through and adding weight to the bar.
BB Accomplishments:
None yet, just want to get stronger and stay healthy.

Well, my lifting partner and I just found out 2 weeks ago that our gym was being changed into a Planet Fitness. I talked to the one manager at the gym and he told me that they were changing so they wouldn't be overrun by all the bigger gyms. Except, they were losing the basketball court,...
Things are alright, bud... thanks! My bands been travelin, so workouts have been inconsistant. I hate cardio. I take it you're tryin to cut up/ shed some fat? Keep at it, homie!
hey sup , thanks for the comment , yea i dont think no one loves to lose because its hard but dedication is the only way to meet your goals.. keep up the good work!
thank you for visiting my page, and for the good luck wishes. i need all the luck i can get chasing mrdawnmarie! thats great that you and your wife have a challenge also. if you are competing against her, you better let her win! or you know she will kick your butt! lol best of luck to you reaching all of your fitness goals, and stay dedicated!
Glad to hear your wife is enjoying the classes, I have always liked group fitness classes too, very motivating! Cutting out the fried foods and bringing your own meals is a great step to help with the cutting. My husband packs his snacks and meals the night before and it makes it alot easier to follow your planned diet for the day.
Hey, thanks for askin. My training has been goin great! My current split and routine is showing to be very good for strength gains, so I'm hoping muscle gains too! My forearms are bothering me, but I'm taking a week off next week as my wife and I are going on vacation. Hopefully the time off will help them heal! Great lifting stats! How's everything with you?
Good to hear from ya! I've had 3 good weeks of workouts now so hopefully the back is just about healed. Taking it somewhat slowly so I don't reinjure it. How are things with you? Been consistent in your workouts? Hope the family is doing well!
