I have a friend who encouraged me to start lifting to reduce body fat and gain lean muscle mass.
Why I Love It:
Working out is like breathing. It is necessary if you want to live!! Living is not always simply existing.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just remember how I felt being more than 100 pounds overweight. I could not even breathe when I walked up our stairs. My heart rate would shoot up to 170 beats per minute. I was very unhealthy and depressed. I love my family too much to ever go back again!
I now help others achieve their goals through personal training. Staying motivated is easy!!!
BB Accomplishments:
I have lost a total of 124 pounds to date. I am so much stronger and fit than I have ever been. I am very proud of my accomplishments so far!

I too am working to overcome the epidemic of obesity that is threatening our population. It is people like you who are the shinning examples to so many others. Keep up he great work and continue being an inspiration. Stay strong, focused and determined.
Still doing well... 12 miles per week, way to go! I relaxed my program alot after the pool season started in May, but I'm getting back to it now. I gained about 10lbs, but I know what it takes to get rid of it now. I'm starting the P90X program today, so I'm excited to see where it takes me. Talk to you later!
I just noticed that you are going for your trainer certification. Good for you! I'm not saying personal trainers are all the same, but most have had good body types to begin with. You background will add a sort of "street credit" because you have been where many feel trapped. I think it's awesome that you are taking this path!
THANK YOU!! I am really proud of myself. I still have alot of work to do, but I am so pleased with how far I've come. Thank you for your encouragement!
