In high school and college, I did alot of cardio and weights but didn't really take it seriously and just cared about the number on the scale. Then I started to realize what it takes to work hard and have true dedication to achieve a goal. Running a marathon was something I thought I could never do. Now I feel like I'm on to new goals of being in the best shape EVER!! Even as a mom in her 30s! :-)
Why I Love It:
It makes me feel strong, both mentally and physically.
How I Stay Motivated:
Learning from others. The progress that other people have made inspires me to reach my goals. I hope to someday be a role model for other women as well.
BB Accomplishments:
Completed Rock n' Roll Half Marathon in Pheonix and Marathon in San Diego in 2004, Capital City Half Marathon in 2004 and 2005 in Olympia, WA and Seattle Half Marathon in 2005
I want to be the best I can be for myself and for my family.
Goal (Long):
After having boy/girl twins in January, I realized that it's even more important for me to take care of myself, both inside and out. It's easy to get into a "comfort zone" and not take care of myself with everything else there is to do. But it's important to me to be a strong role model for my children.
Completing a marathon was one goal I never would of thought I would reach and I did it! Now I would LOVE to be able to have a body that could compete in a women's fitness competition in the next 5 years. It seems a long way off but after reading many of the stories on here I believe anything is possible.
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Kelly Ripa, Jennifer Aniston...

Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
I do because I think it holds me accountable and I also hope it will motivate them to challenge themselves as well.

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
Don't give up. Don't think "oh, I'm destined to be fat and out of shape". Have a vision for where you want to be and keep striving towards it. It can happen.
but I'm back with changes that need to be made ASAP! It's a New Year... thank God for that! I'm hoping to reconnect with you guys on here... it's motivating to me to talk to others.
Hey Molly! long time since I've really been on here. Looks like you're doing good and staying on top of things. Wish I could say the same but I'm back! Happy New year! ttyl

remarkable diff. between now and nov. molly.
look at your belly... its more squared off then rounded..... your not in bad shape so the changed will be smaller physically but significant mentally. keep taking the pics and really go over the diff. kinda like the funny pages where the cartoon is to find the diff. put them side by side on the computer and you WILL see!
hey...just wanted to say that you're lookin good for having had 3 kids!! and i just saw your fit status...and i know it can be hard..but try not to focus on the number!! just keep working hard and taking pics to see the progress!!
