Overall Goal: Recovering from spring break and that good home cooking! Time to get back at it!
Fit Status:
I've been increasing the cardio and adding more weight into my ab exerices. hopefully that'll start helping out!

When I Started:
Dec, 2007
How I Started:
I just wanted to see what I was capable of. I was always in decently good shape (although I was kind of the fat kid in middle school, haha) but I never tried to see what I could do. So I figured why not try it out
Why I Love It:
I feel great and healthy. I like seeing gains and its always a great feeling of accomplishment when I reach my goals. I am impressed by how the body heals and how gains gain be made when you put your mind to it.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm land-locked out in North Dakota right now. My surfing posters keep my motivated to stay in "beach-shape" so when I get back to the coast I won't be dead after one surf-session
BB Accomplishments:
I tore my ribs away from my sternum in High school and my bench went from around 200 down to repping only the 45lbs bar. I have been working my way up from there and I now I have exceeded my old max and I am up to 285lbs.

This was before I decided to start lifting. I was still pretty lean from my high school sports. I started lifting December 2007 just to see what I could do.
I know I'm hairy, what can I say, I'm Irish-Italian
How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
30 seconds for toning exercises and :45-1:00min for heavy excercises. You don't want to get cold and you also don't want to get too fresh

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
I injured myself in sports. I tore my ribs away from my sternum and have been trying to get my bench back. I also fractured my legs, so running sucks now. haha
Cool, I love talking to motivated people too!! I have never been so motivated until I realized what my body is capable of doing. I am def likeing the results which makes me push harder and harder each workout. Have an AWESOME weekend! :D
well boo to dieting but it will payoff well. I am going to Italy in 3 weeks and have to look good there and Oh I have a photoshoot on March 7 and have to look BEYOND perfect there so.....it will all pay off :) Did you join the team yet???
Nice. I've got a friend coming into town Friday and going to a bday party that night. I also have plans to go hiking Sunday. I'm looking forward to it. :)
No he just gets a lot in public comments. another really good place to talk to him and others about it is on the team supermaine page. I am part of the bodygroup. you can access it from my profile.
Thank you! I like yours as well. ;) No 16 hour work days this week! I'm so glad - it gives me more time to focus on the gym! Lol...you're already ready for the weekend, huh? Big plans?
