When I Started: May, 2007
How I Started: I realized I was not getting any younger and the more overweight I stayed, the worst my health would be and the shorter my life span would be. I also suffer from DDD (degenerative disk disease) in 3 locations of my spine.
Why I Love It: Bodybuilding keeps the body in shape as well as builds your immune system. It's overall benefits are incomparable to any other form of exercise.
How I Stay Motivated: It's extremely hard, but I stay motivated every time I huff and puff after walking a short distance!!!

What is the most dangerous weightlifting exercise? Why?
I don't believe there is one, because if you properly warmup and execute correctly, there should be no injuries.

On August 8, 2008, at 12:08AM, the Lord blessed my wife and I with a son! If this does not light a fire under my behind, I don't know what will. It will be a shame when my son asks me to play ball with him and I am the one who looks like the ball!!! My journey continues...
