I started running in 1981. I started bodybuilding in 2007.
Why I Love It:
I am always amazed at the way my body responds to weights. I have seen vast improvement since the show in Sept. It is amazing.
How I Stay Motivated:
I started this to "lose that last 10 lbs". I never knew that it was more than that. My whole mind set has changed. If you had told me 10 years ago that I would stand on a stage, basically naked and not feel self-conscience, scared or nervous, I would have laughed in your face. I overcame those obstacles and there is no better driving force. The support of Jon and my family and friends was undeniably the reason I was able to finish the first part of this adventure. Now they are with me for more. Love to all of them.
I would also be willing to talk with anyone interested in providing sponsorship.
BB Accomplishments:
NANBF Golds Classic: 5th womens overall, 1st masters
Southern States Classic 09: 3rd womens short class, 1st Missouri Physique, 1st masters women, 1st masters 35+ for Pro Card

I so enjoy Rafiel's enthusiasm. Since the beginning he has always checked in on me and given me support and backing. He doesn't know it, but there are days when I just want to quit and I see his name pop across my screen. I just know he is sitting there pushing me to continue to reach my goals. He is a leader.
Brian inspires me because he gets up every day and battles. He fights through his pain. I try to rmember that when my muscles are screaming. When I finish, my pain diminishes. He even has a great sense of humor!! I am blessed to have him in my corner.
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
My children are proud of me. How often do you get to hear that. I am much happier. They use me as a role model and that is extremely flattering. How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you in your career?
I am able to draw the line as far as taking work home with me. Work is work, workout is workout and fun is fun. I am able to fully enjoy all areas of my life and be fully present at each level.
Where do we get our perceptions of ourselves? How is it that they change? When we ar born, ourminds are a blank slate. We are molded by our experiences and our perceptions are a compliation of all those experiences. When I was young, I would have been considered a tomboy. Iplayed...
Hi Terri, Is this a new photo? Amazing looking back...(I hate to sound like a broken record) I'm working on eating clean and getting lean. Yes, I intentionally rhymed That!
Miami and snorkeling will be awesome...have fun!! Our final match this weekend was grueling. Our Pack (240+ lbs guys) crushed their pack, however their backs (150 - 220 lbs) out ran our backs scoring 3 un-answered tries. We had a great post party barbeque and drained 2 kegs with the other teams. Trick or treating later that night. Have a wonderful week!! Cheers, Bryan
Thank you very much.Im just trying to be the best person, leader & liter that i can.By helping others reach their goals solidifies my place as a leader. You're a true warrior in the unit.
Have a Happy Halloween weekend!! Candy... Candy... Candy!!! Just kidding... a carmel apple will do...LOL!! Last Rugby match this weekend...bitter sweet!! I get my Saturdays back also... now what to do??
Cheers, Bryan
Hope your weekend was great!! Mine was wonderful!! We lost, however a defining play during Rugby match was our pack (8 big guys) driving the other team across their goal line to score a try. About 2000 - 2400 lbs of beef smashing into another team of equal magnitude...rugby ball in the middle of the mess...what a train wreck...LOL!! Have a great week!!! Cheers, Bryan
Terri... you sound busy.. busy.. busy!! Hey check out my progress pic for an idea of how much mud we were playing in this weekend...LOL!! I'm lifting the guy in the middle... sort of like a jump ball with help... Cheers, Bryan
Happy Autumn to you!!! Had a great game this weekend, a free mud bath spa treatment...total body of course ;) All served up at 40 degrees in a down pour...LOL!! I have never been so muddy in my life... still cleaning mud out of my ears...LOL!!! Lost by one try (score). How was your weekend?? Cheers, Bryan
Hey! It was snowing as I drove to work this morning... The summer wasn't great here and it appears the winter has arrived early. So I guess we are in the same boat? You are going to focus on growing now? That's funny! My Dear you do nothing but grow... You know where I stand with you. You are my hero and when you are famous I'll tell people that I've known you since you were nobody... Cant't wait to see new growth pictures. Best wishes, Ray
Hope your week was awesome!! Handicap bars?? Looks like 42 degrees and rain predicted for tomorrow's match against Severn Rivers Rugby Football Club (RFC) in Annapolis, MD. Ugly weather, however great day for big guys like myself. The backs (skinny guys) will be slipping all over the place in the mud...LOL!! Have a great weekend!! Cheers, Bryan
