How I Started:
I started running in 1981. I started bodybuilding in 2007.
Why I Love It:
I am always amazed at the way my body responds to weights. I have seen vast improvement since the show in Sept. It is amazing.
How I Stay Motivated:
I started this to "lose that last 10 lbs". I never knew that it was more than that. My whole mind set has changed. If you had told me 10 years ago that I would stand on a stage, basically naked and not feel self-conscience, scared or nervous, I would have laughed in your face. I overcame those obstacles and there is no better driving force. The support of Jon and my family and friends was undeniably the reason I was able to finish the first part of this adventure. Now they are with me for more. Love to all of them.
I would also be willing to talk with anyone interested in providing sponsorship.
BB Accomplishments:
Golds classic 09 1st womens overall, IFPA Bluffs Classic: 5th masters women, ABA Land of Oz: 1st womens overall, 1st masters women for pro card.

Malcolm is a quiet giant that has incredible fortitude. He gives to people because he knows the true way to be rich. He takes time from his busy schedule to check on his friends and make sure they are on the track they want to be on. I am extremely fortunate to have Malcolm as a supporter and friend. We can all learn how to live, love and learn from this man. He inspires me to be a better me, all around. Thank you Malcolm, I appreciate you and who you are.
I so enjoy Rafiel's enthusiasm. Since the beginning he has always checked in on me and given me support and backing. He doesn't know it, but there are days when I just want to quit and I see his name pop across my screen. I just know he is sitting there pushing me to continue to reach my goals. He is a leader.

My children are proud of me. How often do you get to hear that. I am much happier. They use me as a role model and that is extremely flattering. Where do we get our perceptions of ourselves? How is it that they change? When we ar born, ourminds are a blank slate. We are molded by our experiences and our perceptions are a compliation of all those experiences. When I was young, I would have been considered a tomboy. Iplayed...

I have been used by the pastor at my local church to speak with a number of groups and they have been some of the most rewarding experiences in my life. If I can be of any benefit to you feel free to give me a yell. I would enjoy nothing more than you accomplishing your desires and dreams.
Thank you for your wonderful words and especially for complimenting my wife. Without her love, her determination and her passion I would not be here to write these words. She is the inspiration that inspires my perspiration. Remember: “You've got to get up every morning with determination, if you're going to go to bed with satisfaction.”
