How I Started:
My interest in working out started in high school but I didn't get serious about it until my sophomore year of college when I met a friend who was into bodybuilding/modeling.
Why I Love It:
I love how I feel. Not only does my body and skin look better, but I feel better mentally.
How I Stay Motivated:
Motivation for me is having more energy and looking and feeling better. Every time I get off track and eat junk food I feel physically awful. This is a brutal reminder to stay motivated.
Ok so I am 5 weeks out from my first competition. My diet is becoming more strict and my cardio is increasing. I am tired. It has been a hard week, but I just keep reminding myself of why I am doing this.
Does any one have any tips/suggestions for staying motivated during this time?
Hope you are feeling better! We are going to have a blast in Chicago! Then hopefully, we can get Sunday Sessions started here soon too! Have a great weekend!
Ok, I sent you a facebook message before I read this. Check out my friend Lori Harder on Facebook. She is the Savage Ambassador for MN. We haven't started Sunday sessions yet, but probably will after we get back from Camp Savage in Chicago. 6 of us are going.
Are you part of Cathy Savage's program? For some reason I think you either were or are. Well, if you are, we are starting Sunday sessions here!!!! Let me know if you are interested. Are you doing NPC next year?
Pretty much the same for me, thanks for asking. Summer is going way too quick, I've only had 4 days off in the past 2 months to enjoy it. Luckily I have a few lakes to jog around in the evening to take advantage of the scenery, when I have time to run. Hope you're staying on track of your goals!
