Compete in the Mens Health Urbanathalon. Notice I say compete and not participate. I don't want to be just another participant. I want to be competitive.

Been a good day so far; I started it right by not getting out of bed till almost 9! Ate some protein pancakes, watched tv, did yoga and recently got back from a 4 mile run that I kept at an 8:06 pace. I was glad for the run, haven't ran in about a month and have unofficially retired from...
True! Yes I do, even though my favorite contestant (Abbie) has been eliminated. I don't care much for the contestants left, but the show is still inspiring.
That's okay :). Yes, I did the standard 6 miles. I had actually planned on just doing a short walk, but it felt good so I kept going. I feel better than yesterday so I plan on getting my strength workout in tomorrow. Sorry about tennis.
I agree about the snow. I'm glad you're active today. Remember, no leg workout today. It was supposed to have been legs day, but due to a sinus infection it's now on for tomorrow (assuming I'm well). I did get out and walk though, it's a beautiful day here.
I'm done with it by February, lol But it extends a couple months beyond and it's just dreary and nasty and that is what I don't like about it. That's cool about the skis. I'm glad you enjoyed yoga!
Thank you :). Yes, it's a nice day here too. Snow is right around the corner for both of us. I look forward to it. I actually don't mind winter weather until about February, then it just gets old.
Actually yesterday I managed to get my chest and arms workout in, even with my back being sore. It's much better today and today is legs day, but I won't be able to do anything until my fever is gone and the achiness goes away. I'm aiming for tomorrow. I'm doing each body part twice a week now so it's not quite as big a deal for things to be pushed back a bit. I hope your back feels better!
Yeah, that could have been why. We've had issues with water damage in our house. There may be some mold or spores underneath the carpeting. We can't rip it out and put in new carpeting because it isn't our house, we're renting it from my uncle. We don't want to invest money into something knowing we're going to move into our own house in a couple years. But it well could be what is causing my sinus problems.
It's not allergies. I DO have allergies too, but the symptoms are a lot different and I never run a fever or get body aches with allergies. Plus (TMI alert) the nasal secretions with allergies are clear...but not with a sinus infection. Blech! But something like mold could be causing the sinus infections, we'll have to inspect for that. Thanks Mike! The back feels better today :).
I'm not sure what it is that I hurt. I can't turn to look on either side of me. It isn't my neck, but the upper part of my back, but when I turn it pulls that area. I wonder if there is something structurally wrong with my nose (deviated septum maybe?) that is the reason for all the sinus infections. Enjoy your time at the rec center, have a great workout!
Actually, no. Just don't deliberately sniff/smell it and you'll be okay. The smell isn't offensive, just a tad unpleasant. Sort of like eggs and fish don't smell good, but they taste good to many. My back still hurts and now I have a sinus infection (I probably get 5 or 6 of those a year). I feel yucky!
Kinda stinky, lol. The powder itself smells fine, but when mixed with water it has a weird odor (like lemon boiled eggs). I was really reluctant to take a sip, but it's the best-tasting whey that I've tried. I actually crave it post-workout. It mixes better with a fork and cup than it does in a shaker cup because the shaker cup makes it foam, but can be avoided if you just use a fork.
It's really good! It reminds me of the lemon filling in lemon bars. I prefer it with less water than recommended, so play around with the amounts and you can get different flavors. The only downside of this product is the smell after it's been mixed with water. But it tastes 1000 times better than it smells.
Ordering online is cheaper, even with shipping costs. I'll send you a pm containing the discount code if you don't remember it. I'd highly recommend the Xtreme Formulations whey if you need more whey. I love the Lemonade flavor, but I've heard great reviews on the chocolate pb flavor. The UP 2.0 is a great blend for before bed if you need something casein based (the chocolate pb flavor is the best I've ever tasted and I've heard the others are awesome too).
The taste is incredible. Thank you so much Mike! It's only a couple who have said that and I need to not focus on those few people and do what I know is best and healthy for me.
