How I Started:
It's time to start over again! Last year, I was doing so well working out in college, but now I'm working at a real job and have lost my way. When I stepped on a scale and realized I had regained all of the weight I had lost, I knew it was time to shelve all of the excuses, get back to the gym, and eat better. Here we go!
Why I Love It:
I love how good I feel when I'm done. It's a sense of accomplishment that just can't be beat.
How I Stay Motivated:
I have used many things for motivation before: my sister, my husband, etc... But now it's time to do this for me. I have always had someone pushing me, but now it's time to push myself. I want to prove to myself that I can do this, and I want to make myself better for me. And the best motivation for eating right is having to wake up at 3:30 in the morning to go to the gym. You don't want to ruin a day after waking up that early to work out!

My long term goal is to lose 80 pounds of fat and to gain lots of muscle. I'm joining the Peace Corps in a couple of years and want to be in great shape before I go. Plus, I want to be able to wear a bikini next summer and feel great about myself.
I know with hard work and dedication, I can totally change my body!

Other than the obvious benefits (appearance, health, etc.), how has bodybuilding and fitness improved your overall life?
I feel more confident about myself. I feel like I can overcome anything and do anything. Even though I have a long way to go before I have the appearance I want, it doesn't really matter, because I love myself in a way I hadn't really before.I feel more confident about myself. How has bodybuilding and fitness helped or hurt your relationship?
I follow Vince DelMonte's "No Nonsense Muscle Building" program with my sister. He does a very good job outlining the structure of the program and the workouts change every couple of weeks, keeping things interesting. It is working very well for us, both of us getting stronger and...
Best wishes on acheiving your goals Michelle. Always remain positive and stay as focused as possible. Looking forward to some stunning progress pictures.
Awesome progress! I know what it's like to "loose my way" you can do this. Those pounds that came back will fall off easily with a bit of focus an sweat :D Let's keep each other posted. Buddies are motivating.
You are so beautiful already. Just remember that your beauty comes from the perceptions of others and our bodies are merely our vesels. Stay beautiful and keep up the hard work. Thankyou for sharing your results w/ everyone who will aspire to you.
