lifting began as an outlet for my energy after i was injured
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding, because it is the only sport where you are (solely) accountable for your actions 24 hrs a day 7 days a week for all the years preceding the moment you step on stage. Win or loose the only one to blame/congratulate is you. Moreover, it gave me the discipline and work ethic to necessary to succeed in all other aspects of my life. There is truly no other sport in the world like bodybuilding.
How I Stay Motivated:
i think back to what i use to be and who i was then; i will never be like that again and i will do everything i can to get as far away from that as i can.
it seems like at a lot of contests this year judges have forgotten that are four criteria for judging bbers: presentation, symetry, muscularity, and conditioning. sorry needed to get that out.
time will tell. not sure on sanction yet. Good luck to you Mike! Ever need anything that I can help you with, let me know!!!
BTW, I am opening a sprots nutrition store soon, keep me in mind please! :)
Unfortunately my girl and I got slightly lost and got there just as it was starting... and then when it was over, she wanted to jet because it's a two hour drive for us. Trust me, I would have loved to stay. I feel bad about not meeting Johnny Quinn. I had a wristband for him too. If he inspires me, I can't imagine what he does for others... CONGRATS again!
Holy crap Mike... your conditioning gets better and better with each showing. I was happy to see you win Middle-Weight and the Overall was a tough call too IMO. You definitely had more Hams than Luthor... Send my regards to Glenny. :)
i got may 17th show. and maybe one in summer or one in fall.
im getting over back injury. not really feeling up to this may show, but im gonna do it because its my first non-novice show.
You are looking amazing keep it up! How's training going? Hey if you get a chance check out my website. think there might be some stuff on there you might like. (Link on my Bodyspace Page)
Sweet, make sure to tell me Happy Birthday that day. I figure I'll probably forget that I told you, so when I hear it, I'll take you for a real class act. :) Anyhow, I'll be there. Warren wanted me to guest speak but I've been kind of reluctant. I told him I think I rather compete and if he gets a disabled class together I just might in '09.
