Normal weight is 130lbs. Went up to 168lbs due to pregnancy. My first show at competed at 126lbs- had some medical issues and pregnancy loss again went up to 158lbs and back down to last show at 132lbs. It has been a journey hope to add about 3-5 lbs of muscle by next april and stay at my normal weight of 130-140 lbs.But you know LIFE happens yet still we rise!!!

This was my 1st Figure Competition 2005 South Carolina Excalibur. I placed 2nd in the Figure Open and won 1st place in Masters. YEAH BUDDY! It was a blast and such a rush to do this show. I later did this show again in 2007 and won my class. Just another one of Gods many blessing. But He made me work my lil booty of for it. Really. lol. Holla Oh yeah your wondering how much I weighed at this show -126lbs. and I am 5'9 What? YEP. I now compete at about 132-136lbs. But body fat not as low. So muscle I still work to build. 145lb. Still not to many lines seen. Body fat dropping. I realize I have more muscle than in the past yeah! However I am carrying more water and fat higher. My body has been thru many hormonal changes with the miscarriage so I pray I lean out more within the next week. I would like to be more conditioned with this size than the last show. Here is the update. 2wks later and 2wks out from show time. I am now at 136lb. few more inches gone. It has been a long 2 weeks.Grandad past away today-God has a plan I just know He does- Thanks all for all your prayers- Oh the Stress from life happening -But STILL I and YOU must RISE.

133lb. 7 days till show time. Today is Grandads funeral and he is in a better place and feels no more pain. Thanks to all of you for your prayers this past week. I feel good about my progress. I met my goal to get my body back. I am excited about the next show due to my status now. The next 7 days is water weight and hope more lines should be in. See you soon. 7 days baby- yeah!

Well we are 3 days out and I am on a rollercoaster. Saturday can't get here soon enough. I have some water weight but I think this is it guys. Will try to rest and a few more lines should come in. I will take a pic on friday day before the show. Thanks guys for taking the ride with me. It feels good to have my old body back and well a little bit better. I hope to bring you all a trophy or two or three.Yippee!

Here we are at almost at the end of this trip. Thank you LORD!! I have come along way to many. However, this was a great way to encourage my clients. I am human too. But I chose to get my body back. I could have stayed 158lbs. I could have gave into the cheesecake, pizza, dark chocolate almonds hmmm.ahhh. ooohh. Oh i'm sorry I almost lost it. Yeah I know 3 more days.lol. PRAISE GOD!!! 1st Place Tall Class. I am Nationally Qualified-sweet- YEAH!! I feel great and yes very proud of myself. 131lbs. I am suprised and also thankful. I will be busting my butt to improve my legs and calves and also my side pose for next show. November 3. So I have 10 weeks to give you a better body. Thanks again guys for your support. To all who came out thankyou so much. We did it VFC. Thanks girl for hanging with me and Congrats to you. I will update my new goals and start working with the iron on Tuesday. Here we are. Me and Lawanda aka VFC(Veggie Figure Competitior) She is one of my clients and also now a Certified Personal Trainer. Awesome. This is her first year competing. She is doing well and yes with NO MEAT! We are smiling because we get to have twizzlers and dark chocolate hmmm. God is so so so good!

Results of 8 weeks training, dieting down for Figure show. Yes I droped a good bit of weight. On the norm I'm 130-135lb. So this weight loss was not just for the show but to get my normal body back. As a trainer I have to walk the walk not just talk it. Please know that it was not easy because life happens. I dropped 27 lbs. Water weight was about 7-10 lbs of that. I will not allow myself to gain this much again unless it is out of my hands. For upcomming shows I plan to stay within a 10-12lb (fat lbs) weight gain while adding mass. I will measure my conditioning by not losing sight of my abs and cellulite on back of legs. This is where I carry my fat. Day of this show I weighed 131lbs. Won 1st place tall class. Thanks again guys. Will have info on my training and diet soon. Train hard, eat well and often, love the body you are changing- regardless of lifes changes -Still you can RISE. Ok 8weeks to Elite. I am starting the clean diet Sunday. Please don't penalize me for the bloated look but I did have a little, hmmm. Pizza, cheesecake and hmmm. Dark chocolate oh yeah onion rings without the onion.lol. I'm still hitting cardio and the weights. Hey, a girls still has to have a little fun. However, I do not want to destroy what I have geained so Sunday is the first real week of CLEAN eating and detoxing that junk out. Had to give my body a break. Last comp was 2 1/2 weeks ago. I came in at 131 So the goal for this show is to lean out legs more.I hope to have a calf.lol at this show.. Ok. Here I am 6 weeks out and feeling good were I am now. I am about 6-8 lbs less than I was dieting down at 6weeks for last show. Looking back at the 7/21 photo from last show at I was about 145lbs and this time at 6 wks I'm 138lbs. So I have to keep cardio up but not cut carbs to much to maintain muscle. I have been hitting bleachers more and deadlifting. Will post back pose next week to compare Ham/glute tie in from last show.See you guys next weeks. Feel free to give me feedback.

OK here I am 3weeks and 2 days out. Holding water in lower back and inner thigh. Last show at this time frame I was carrying a bit more fat and little more muscle too. My ham/glute tie in is better this time and that was a goal. 4lbs less than last show this time see you next week

15 days out guys. The pic on left is current for this show (a little smooth with the subcutatnious water). The pic on right is just 3 days out from last show. I am carrying a bit of water now and will be tanning more so Looking at last show photos if I dial in cardio and continue lifting heavy -I should look better in the hams area. Then my goal will be met for this show. -Winning is another thing. Just going to compete against self. The diet UGH!! everything taste the same right now. Just pray I hold on I am feeling rather ah you know. By the way winning is good but I do not feel my body is ready for nationals but it would be nice to bust my @#$% for it right now. Will try to post a pick on Wed. I will carb deplete until wed then load back up thurs to sat-so I can see how flat I get and then see how much I need to fill for show next week. Last show I think I needed a little more carbs to fill out. Will post pick so you can see too. Holla with feedback. Calves are very sore by the way. I pray they pop on stage for me. Yeah Yeah! Here we have a good comparison of me now compared to me 2 days out at last show. Of course water weight is down in the 8/22 pic due to is was 2 days out but the pic from 10/23 this morning- I am leaner with the water weight so I am siked about what I will look like 2 days out and of course day of the show- Holla back with some thoughts- I am feeling flu like symptoms and trying to keep my immune system up- pray for me and I will post pics on friday or saturday-MJ-fitchik4life-Still rising-God Bless.

Here I am. 5 days out till showtime. Lost some size in shoulders I am carb depleting today till wed then adding back in till saturday. I hope that I am just flat and that my glycogen stores me back out enough that I have my size in them back- I feel smaller for this show but my bodyfat is less also. My ham glute tie in is out but carrying fat or fluid in inner thigh-ugh!! will try not to miss any meals and rest pose rest pose rest pose and rest again. 2 days out -had a little doubt myself and Fox I thank you for being in my life and believing in me so much-Compared to last show I feel smaller but Ham glute tie is better-thanks JAY-still have this fat/fluid at inner thigh have to work on that it drives me crazy- I think it is the last place I lose. Also my waist line seems thicker (obliques area). Will start water deplete at 1pm today and start carb loading at 3pm every 2 hrs I get hmmm sweet potato 1/4-1/2 yeah also oatmeal n shredded wheat- Again thanks guys will holla tomorrow begore getting on the road to the show. Howdie yall.Here we go. 14 weeks out. But training for 10week readiness. May do State show not sure yet. Goal is to be fuller and more size in legs overall. Would like more size in shoulders. Maintaining my back just need to hit legs more to catch up to my back developement. Calves?? lol. I will try my best to come in bigger with same conditioning or better than the november show. I am using size on and superpump from Gaspari so we shall see. Size on has Creatine so my water will be slow in lose-But I will do a 30day cycle. Well will post pics next sunday and will try to post one every week till May 17 show date! Please leave feedback and I can take the bad stuff but don't suger coat it for me just give it to me raw-Take care and well let's just hope life does not get to hectic this time around. 145lb.

Here I am comparison shot of week 14 to week 11 I have not been as disciplined as I should. Have not missed weight training but sprint work has not been as consistant as it should. Will be more focused this week. Will post new pic next week. Slight change down 1 lb.

Here I am again. 9wks. Did measurments and I did not get any gains in thigh I feel that I may have the same muscle mass but we will see. My waist is about 2inches more than my 8wks out measurements of last show. I feel about a week off so I am really trying to not stress and do what I know I need to do. Be consistant. See ya then 9wks out 140lbs.

Seem to be maintaining muscle.Scale not moving much but inches have been moving somewhat. I still feel off track but im trying to keep my outlook bright. I have geined some hams and calves are 1/2inch bigger yeah!! Have not been posting many pics as I want to do to my schedule and sleep has been put on back burner and it need not be. This is a side comparison of the top 4 in F class at Team U. In a side view the judges look for shape and fullness in hamstrings, balance between your quad and the belly of the Hams. Your butt should not extend out to much more than your hams and your breast (chest) should give balance with your glutes (butt). They don't want a deep definitive line but slight separation of Quad to Hams. Just a little FYI on what they look for. So if your going to get implants be sure they give you balance. Keepin it real for you all. It's the holidays and I have enjoyed it all. Can't ya tell. I hope this pic motivates many of you ladies. Becuase in 30 weeks I plan to be better then I've been before. You can too. Join me on this mission. I'm working around an injury-Patellar Tendonitis in my left knee. Workouts have been creative. lol. I have 30 weeks till my Pro debut. This is as bad as it will get.(condition wise) I promised not to lose site of my abs and right now I can still see an ab! LoL.Goal: gain size and shape in legs. I'm now 143lbs and January starts the intake of my high calorie diet. WHEW!!! Lotta food.fairly clean food. As promised here is an update on the legs. Despite the patelar Tendonitis they seem to be responding to the workout, though it is limited.

Hey there all BB friends it's me. 148lbs of me (smile) 18weeks out from Jacksonville Pro-next goal is 4 weeks to 14-15%BF so I won't stress when I get close to show time.So thats decrease 4% in 4weeks

OK I am really trying not to lean out to fast however I am normally leaner at 8weeks and I am concerned. I will keep pushing because you gotta rise-Right?

OK we are almost there. If it ain't tight it ain't right so I will press on. 4 weeks till showtime! God is soooooo AWESOME!!

Here we are 2weeks out and I don't have a day I can waste but this back of mine is not allowing me to push like I wanna. So God whispered I got you. So he forced me to rest. Sometimes He will make you be still.I trust I will be ready in 2weeks-MJ FitChik4Life

2009 Jacksonville Pro- did not finish.

My only onstage memory for my pro debut the Jacksonville pro. Unfortunately, I did not finish the show due to some complications backstage at the show. I will try to redeem myself with a tighter package and of course being on time in 5wks. Thanks for the support from you all.

2009 New York Figure Championships 15th

I placed 15th of 26 competitors. My critique from judges is I need more shape on legs. So back to the garage (gym) I go.(smile) Legs have been my biggest challenge in this sport. 15th place not mad I feel good because It has been a challenge to with life happening. For my first pro show I finished I am satisfied and will shoot for 10-12th spot next year. Top 10 would be awesome. Thanks for the luv Bodyspace
