How I Started:
I've always been active. I have been running for years. Through those years I had "dieted" but never saw my body change. I saw a transformation on Oprah that completely blew me away. I thought to myself, if she can do it then so can I! I began researching and reading everything. I learned very quickly how important weight training is to my overall health.
Why I Love It:
I am a working mother of young twins. They keep me VERY active. Working out keeps my energy levels up so I can keep up with them and have fun doing it!
How I Stay Motivated:
I feel like all of this hard work is preparing me to be stronger in my old age and to prepare me to withstand any unforeseen ailments that might come my way. I'll be ready!
BB Accomplishments:
The artful task of eating clean and competing in two figure competitions.

I workout with my sister. Knowing she is waiting for me at the gym at 5am helps me get out of bed every morning!

I have been off the wagon for a while now.  Busy with work and kids and their activities, I have completely put my body on the shelf.  Well its time to pull me off, dust off and get back to work.  I'm going to work on a plan and will be posting my progress soon!
