How I Started:
My fiance, boyfriend at the time, got me into lifting. I've always loved working out and being fit but I had lost track of that goal during my Air Force career. I quit smoking during the summer of 2006 and started working out with him in December 2006. We have been workout partners ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love being strong. I love the way I feel and striving for "my" perfect body. There's always room for improvement so I don't ever get bored. My body is like a never ending project and I really love that!
How I Stay Motivated:
My fiance motivates me. I guess the "proper" answer would be that I motivate myself somehow but I don't. He truly motivates me.
BB Accomplishments:
So far it would be my arms. When I started I had the extra movement under the arm (lack of triceps) and now I don't. My arms are not as defined as I would like them to be but I'm trying and I will keep trying until I get the results I'm looking for.
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
First, my partner motivates me. He pushes me to the limit. Having a partner allows me to comfortably lift heavier and he watches my form to prevent injuries and maximize my workouts.

I use the one built into the machine. I usually check my heart rate when I begin and when I'm getting ready for my cool down. What heart rate do you aim for while doing cardio? Why?
I aim for somewhere between 185 and 195.

What is your cardio exercise plan?
My plan beginning today is to run on my treadmill in the morning (building to 30 mins) and the elliptical for 30 mins after my workout in the afternoon.
