Why I Love It:
In the last year I've changed so much physically, mentally and emotionally. I've love working out because I feel as though I become a happier individual for being fit strong, and healthy. I never want to go back to having low self esteem or sabotaging my body with poor eating habits. Working out has taught me that I'm stronger then I thought I was and that I have the guts to follow through with my goals. I have chosen to build "my ultimate physique" and it's up to me to make it happen! I count on no one.
How I Stay Motivated:
Staying motivated is hard at times but I love to see the little changes in my body. It might be a small change like a new vein or a new muscle line showing or even pants fitting a little looser. The compliments and shocked look on people faces who haven't seem me in awhile is a reminder of how far I've really come. Admiring other great physiques and hard bodies at the gym also keeps me motivated on days when I'm too tired to finish my cardio or when I need inspiration to push through the last few sets. The process is hard but I'm so addicted to the results! This is a lifestyle, not a diet and I want to be fit & healthy for the rest of my life! :)
BB Accomplishments:
FINALLY completed a goal I set a year ago to compete at my first Fitness/Figure Show. YEAH BABY!!! Nothing better then the feeling of checking that one off the list! I went from 139 LBS (27% BF) all the way down to 114 LBS (14% BF) on stage. Looking back on the pictures of the show, I can see why I didn't place well. I don't let this get me down, I see this as an opportunity to push myself even further and to do better at my next show. My focus is to enjoy the journey and not focusing so much on the final destination; after all, the destination evolves and changes just as I do. Looking forward to pushing myself harder then ever... Stay Tuned!! ;)

I finally completed my goal of competing and now I want to do it again...BUT BETTER!!
My new goal is to compete again in October 2008 in the Figure category. I plan to push myself harder then ever. I will be one lean mean machine! (okay, not mean but most def LEAN) :)
COMPETITION PREP SEASON TRAINING (which I'm currently doing)
Day 1: Legs - Plyo's
Day 2: Chest
Day 3: Back & Abs
Day 4: Biceps/Triceps
Day 5: Shoulders
Day 6: REST DAY!! :)
Day 7: Abs & Cardio Only
