At it again, this time no injuries!
I have been a competitive dancer my entire life, but never looked the part. I started to get discouraged when I realized that I stopped winning because of the condition of my body. I started to watch what I ate, and began doing cardio. I soon became addicted to how my body looked, cut my calories too low and cardio too high. For about a year my weight bounced around, in total I lost about 45lbs. A guy friend of mine, got me to try weight training. Like most teenaged girls I thought it was masculine and didn't want to get 'bulky' but within a month I became hooked. After seriously getting into training and nutrition, I began to look into how I could combine my dance background, strength and love for fitness... and here we are now!
Why I Love It:
I love everything about it... from my muscles maxing out to not being able to walk after a leg day. I love seeing my body transform and the strength that I can get from my 5'1 frame!
How I Stay Motivated:
Being excited for the future. Every morning I wake up knowing that I am one day closer to my dreams.
Leaning right on out for photoshoot in Novemember! Starting gymnastics and routine! Going to ROCK my comp!
Goal (Long):
To compete in the future in fitness competitions... get lean, mean and get back on stage! My physique is pretty proportional right now, but I need to bring up my shoulders a bit and try to keep my quads down!
ROUTINE BABY! Things are awesome physique wise, but my flexibility is shot from all the training lately! Time to get gumby again!!!

Haha too many "yeahs" that is the SoCal I need to stop saying the word! Lol so you are doing 70 lbs as well! Ugh lol take off a month from training so I can gain some ground! As for being sick, your body was just very tired and needed a much needed rest! I do the plyo once a wk! I am doing the legs twice. One day of heavy lifting :)
Aww sounds like you will be busy next month :( Sorry!!! Yeah so you have a shoot coming up! Sounds exciting! Yeah so you ONLY have a week off! Yeah that won't help me lol. Yeah I am way behind in the lower haha. Oh yeah I have to tell you on the incline dumbbells I do 70 lbs now for full sets!! Chea so happy!
Aww really! that sucks! Yeah I know we haven't talked in a few :( I am good tho! training is coming along very well. Doing great in the upper but OK in the lower lol. So you will have surgery before New Year's...aww. So are you laying low now and resting up?

Thats cool you found someone to mix your music. Im sure once thats done make the rest come easier. I finished my music today. I had to scrap the last theme because it was definitely a gymnastics style routine and I thought that for my first comp it definitely has to be fun and play on my strengths. I'll have to send you my new theme. I hear ya about school. Im going to be dealing with that when I go back. Im kinda dreading it
