How I Started:
After returning from the desert I was on a fitness craze.. I ran about 12 miles a week and did some very light weight training and calistetics. Now I'm trying to work on building my distance running back up to 12 miles per week, right now I manage about 3-5 miles. And do some light weight training, mostly aerobics. Now 2 years later I've gone back up to the 150's.. mostly fat. Its not really about the weight but I need more muscle mass
Why I Love It:
I love working out because it makes me feel so great and refreshed. I love the way my body feels afterwards. Also improves my flexibility, which comes in handy for all sorts of day to day activities. :-)(Hubby likes that perk!)
How I Stay Motivated:
By looking at my pictures of less than a year ago. I was in pretty good shape. Now I just need to get back to that. Also, obesity runs in my family so it motivates me to stay healthy to live a long life to be there for my daughter and Husband. My Husband also loves to workout and he is in great shape he motivates me as well
BB Accomplishments:
Not a competition but I compted in a half marathon in November 2008 Time 2:36, I'm going to run the same one again this year and I want to do under 2:00

Goal (Long):
I want to get that good healthy feeling back that I once had and I need to learn how to make exercise a priority for LIFE!!! I want to be able to feel confident whenever we go to the beach and not make excuses for not going. I also want to be a great role model for my daughter.
I want to be strong!
She shows what hard work,, proper diet, and patience does to your body! She has mastered having a healthy body for life and she takes steps to maintain and improve herself.
What do you do before your workout to get motivated and energized?
Think of what I want to accomplish and hear a great song!! Turbo Jam gets me pumped, I'm telling you that stuff is addicting :P .. (thanks Chalene) :P

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Ummm no one I can think of. Most celebrity's are too skinny or some have had work. I want to try and make my body the best for me and what I'm happy with

Geeze, I hate that I'm always tired. For me its a vicious cycle. I wind up going to sleep way to late, then when i awake the next morning(actually a couple of hours later) I'm so tired but then I cant go to sleep. Too much to do. Which in turn makes me wayyy to tired when I'm working out. I...

Yupp! I through some ice hot over them before I went to sleep, when I should be putting some of that Tiger Balm, it really works! And yes, You suppose to feel the sore. As far as loosing weight in your arms, I suggest you do a lot of arm motioning exercises;(Some motions are like moving your arms back and forward as if your running and/or punching motions) when lifting weights, use the 6-10 pound bell bars while doing those motions.
HAHA.. I almost fainted haha JP, it was kew but I was at the gym for 2 hrs and was working on my biceps the longest, now my arms twitchin haha.. How bout u? what have you been doin? u look good!
looking at your new pics..your waist is definetely smaller and defined..and your shoulder area..your leaning out..im gonna be going crazy the next couple of weeks..but it will be worth it..

Say you eat a doublefudge brownie, eat clean the rest of the day.Trust me, no matter what anyone says unless they are a former anorexic, EVERYONE falters with their eating at least once a week (heck a day) but if you get back on the symbolic wagon you'll do fine. Unlike me you only have a few little lbs to tone up. You already ahead of the game! I look forward to watching your progress!

well the deid is good for 2 things, getting in shape, and being bored if you dont want to get in shape! haha when were you there ?I was there in 07 for 6 months. do you have yahoo mesenger? where you stationed now?
Thanks for the friend add. I try not to let being busy be an excuse for not working out. I will always try to get some form of a workout in even if it is only a partial work out. Best of luck to you in accomplishing all your health and fitness goals. Take care and keep in touch.
