When I Started: Jan 2012
HOW I STARTED:

So tired of working out and slaving to cardio with no REAL results. The time for change was here...

WHY I LOVE IT:

What don't I love? Feeling strong, mental clarity, reaching a goal and seeing constant progression. Accomplishing feats I never knew I was cappable of, the human body is an amazing machine and I can't wait to see how far I can push mine. As a bonus being a mother it provides great 'me' time and boundless energy to keep up with the tiddlies :)

Well that's a different mindset!

I had one of those moments this morning.  You know those subtle reminders you get that emphasise how far you really have come from LiveFit day 1. 


I've always reached my plato weight at 60kg.  Two days ago I completed the Jamie Eason LiveFit trainer I weighed in at 58.6kg which I was stoked at.  Yesterday I recommenced week 7, no more carb cycling and lifting heavy to gain lean muscle mass. 


This morning I jump on the scales and they register 57.6kg..... My first thought 'Oh man I must be losing muscle,

So today, day 84 marks 'Goal Day' for my journey on the Jamie Eason 12wk LiveFit trainer.  I cannot thank bb.com or Jamie Eason enough for the impact they have had on my life and I'm not just speaking physically.


The 12wk LiveFit Trainer is so much more than a plan, but rather an education.  My entire perspective on training, nutrition and mental awareness has changed.  This guidance has given me a healthy approach I can apply everyday for the rest of my life.

velvet5900 Awwww, thanks Melissa! I was pretty shocked by that. Someone had to tell me about it and when I went on there, I was blown away and when I saw all the likes on my picture and the comments.... WOW! It was just an awesome feeling! And then from there, there were two other people that shared my pictures, from JE's page to their own page... like a domino effect, that was really tripping me out! Breebreerocks Just started it! Easter means have had to by pass my rest days because the gym is closed. I hurt so much! But I have already shocked myself this week with how much I've lifted. Spending less time in the gym, which is nice, but the 'allowed' foods are more restricted. Really felt I had the change because I have trained for so many years, my body adapts quickly. I also shouldn't have followed Jamie's calorie guidelines because they were too low. Apr 4, 2012 6:38am

velvet5900 Thanks Melissa! I really appreciate that! It's very rough for us all! I can't even imagine burying your own child. I have 2 teenager sons, so my heart is truly heavy, but I have to keep pushing myself. When I first began this journey, I was engaged and things didn't work out and I was devastated and didn't want to continue with this, but I got up and dusted myself off and PROMISED MYSELF... chare129 I wasn't overly enthused by my Phase 2 results either. I'd lost an additional 0.2lbs...but did lose an additional 2% bodyfat though. We always want more than we get ~:o) Mar 1, 2012 12:16pm
