Background

When I Started: Mar 2001
HOW I STARTED:

i started in my garage when i was around 17-18,i would lift nearly everyday,i would take in alot of calories and protein.it was a fun healthy hobbie for me.then i started getting more serious,and joined a couple of gyms,from local too colleges,after that,i started working in gyms.sales,personal training.this is where i am right now,i would like too start competing for a chance too win a amateur body building show,too proove too everyone that anything is possible and good genes,is simply a excuse too not push yourself harder

WHY I LOVE IT:

bodybuilding is a form of natural art. you can take that piece of art,where ever you go and show the world,just how much you love yourself,this will make the world a happier place too live in. plus the idea of sculpting your body into something unique is very exciting,you never quite know how it will turn out!

i stay in the gym scene,i have many gym memberships.i have many friends/clients/training partners.
this keeps me going,also i look up too alot of bodybuilders,athletes,i watch there videos,i understand there nutrition,i admire arnold and flex lewis,those guys seem very down too earth,which mimics my personality

Andres15 thanx budy i appreciate the advice im gona do that!!!! i eat healthy and **** but i thinkk i do too much cardio when i work out!!! because i do take protein and amino acids!!! so as u can see im on the right path i just dont know what im laccking ..... how many calories should i be taking any ideas thanx man for the advice take care Feb 12, 2011 7:41am

jdledbetter No problem Mike. I do hanging leg raises with 5 or 10 lbs dumbbell for 4-6 sets of 10-12 reps, then superset it with rope ab crunch for 4-6 sets of 12-25 reps. It must be flexed with all air out of your stomach. With the thin layer of fat, do more cardio. I, myself, have hard time making lower abs' layer tight/fat-free. I do a lot of cardio for 20 minutes after weight training every time. Feb 7, 2011 3:19pm
