Well, initially it was to stop being skinny. However, I wasn't necessarily too serious then so well, I stopped being skinny. Then I got a disease and ended up getting fat. After I started feeling my fat rolls, I got disgusted so well, had to do something about it.
Why I Love It:
Its a traditionally, non-academic method of stimulating my brain. I'm a nerd like that though.
How I Stay Motivated:
Realizing that if I don't, I won't look or perform the way I want to. Thats just unacceptable, so I might as well keep at it.
BB Accomplishments:
Going from 125 to 205 in 5-7 years. Talk about awesome. :-)

"Imagination is the doorway to the Infinite. You begin by pondering what is supposedly unreal - then it becomes real."
Transforming the Michelin Man into the Incredible Hulk sure would be awesome, wouldn't it?
Goal (Long):
Someone asked me what I was trying to accomplish recently and being a hobby just didn't really cut it. Recently I've been trying to find an inner focus and path to enlightenment through training. However, I think I've indeed become serious about reaching 230 between 5-8% bodyfat.
Gaining a bit of crazy athleticism would be cool too but thats just a side effect of the training.
dnsigma is probably a bit too modest about his conditioning. He asks questions, writes some of the most intelligent and articulate posts on this site and appears to strive for more out of life than just being the biggest, most ripped person on the site. Geez, I want a Ph.D too. His profile often reminds me that I'm procratinating with a few things and the fact he's in incredible shape just ... yeah, I just got reminded I've got some work to do.
Thanks
I don't think the great doctor realizes that through the information exchanges and things he's put into practice, that he's had me REALLY seriously consider a multidisciplinary career change. I keep thinking, "Eh, it would be a hell of a change but being immersed in it and looking the part at 40-something wouldn't be a bad idea at all". So lol at the fact that not only am I getting training guidance, but also a bit of possible career guidance as well.
Why I like this video: This is actually a pretty bad fitness series, but like I said, calisthenics madness. Most of the people that buy this can't get into position to do a large amount of these movements.
I get the feeling the majority of the masses like having creaking joints, atrophied, and stiff muscles along with all of the other disadvantages of not exercising regularly.
Because when I go out of town to rural areas, I get no gym. Just rural woodlands and well, it'll be fun. ...
LOL! It was a typo, but not far from the truth at all!!! I don't like doing cardio, but hey, it has to be done and I've been doing a TON of it lately! The clean eating and cardio are paying off big time though. How's things with you?
Thx 4 da add. I want to compete (eventually), but first I want to do like most on here get and look healthier. I want to do the normal lose fat, bulk, cut. Look "good" at at least 190-200 lbs.
yeah I know the feelin man. I didnt get to sleep until six this morning and got up around 11. Makes for a long day but look at it this way...Were still here!
Dude! You cant lol at peoples training methods, especially when they are effective, and not expect them to say anything. You been on that goose again?? lol
Hello!! I dont hear anything...Its a known fact the more weight ya lift the bigger ya get the better ya look. Thats all im saying. Wanna place a bet on whos method works best. We can set dates and see who looks by by the dates
Yeah but where still lean and doing 500 or better on the big three? That split helps with strength gains and size gains. Got it from one of the best. Go to youtube and look up Michael Belk. We workout together from time to time.
