I want to gain muscle mass and look like the guys on the stage at the couple shows I have been to.
Goal (Long):
Basically I just want to add some muscle mass. I want to get serious about training and dieting as I never have before and see what kind of outcome I can get. My natural body has always been pretty muscular and lean so I am very exited to see what proper training can do to me. I believe I am an ectomorph and have a hard time gaining weight. My metabolism is very high and I have always been a junk food and candy lover. Would eat as much as I wanted and it would never affect my weight. I have always wanted to see myself at 200lbs so that is my first goal.
So I have been spending quite a bit of time over the last week or so trying to decide how to go about my training. I sit and read articles and forum posts and look at peoples profiles trying to figure out how I should be working out and eating. I'm having a tuff time with it and really want...
14 lbs ..... you already were nothing but muscle to begin with! I need to follow your example more. ;)
No racewalking in the heat ... here's to gyms with treadmills. LOL Oh yeah, and I DO have airconditioning. The first summer I was in Portland it hit 100 degrees, and my house didn't have AC. Before the next summer rolled around ... I made sure I had AC. ;)

than eat whole meals for breakfast lunch and dinner...steak, chicken, brown rice, oatmeal, sweet potato im telling you your diet makes all the difference

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you school's been crazy busy and work and well..you know the drill.Anyways man...as far as advice.DIET WILL DO MORE FOR YOU THAN ANYTHING. I know with rex hill its hard since you dont get but one break.So you wana find an easy to eat protein bar for inbetween breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner.
You like pretty freakin jacked, dude! Thanks for the compliment! I wouldn't aim for big weight jumps b/c then you're most likely gaining fat. I made that mistake this past year... got too fat :( You're doin awesome from what I see! Good work to you too!
Have faith in yourself, Mike :) You work hard, are strong as an ox, and w/o trying too hard at the gym are in FAR better shape than most people are no matter how much they work out. So when you put your mind to it, you'll definitely be making good progress :)
