How I Started:
I went to a gym that was mainly fitness based just to gain a bit of muscle because i had always been skinnier than all of my friends and didn't like it. When a new gym opened in my town in 2008 i left my current gym and joined this one. As i had already been going to the gym i had gained a little muscle and looked more like an average 15 yr old and not my previous 14 yr old skinny boy. But the gym that was new to my town wasn't the same as my old one. This gym is an American style body building gym. So after about a month i had gained a little more muscle, but i felt tiny compared to the men that came and done hardcore workouts. So i decided that i should start getting serious and work hard too. Since then i have been training hard and packed on a lot more muscle. My aim is to compete, win and i would like to be known in the body building community.
Why I Love It:
I love working out because of the results and often compliments i get. I love doing an exercise and seeing my muscle pump up and veins showing.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by just realizing how my figure is changing, and knowing it can only get better. Compliments and remarks also keep me motivated.
Having a training partner helps keep me motivated too. I usually train with my dad 6 days a week. Check him out; Jonti1leg
