Started lifting in high school, though I really didn't know what I was doing till soph year of college when I started training to get stronger for cheerleading [yes, you read that right] - another guy on the team, a former Army bodyguard and premed student, taught me the basics. I've been hooked ever since.
Why I Love It:
For one thing, it keeps my diabetes in check. I also love the feeling of being strong and healthy [the looks from the ladies don't hurt, either].
How I Stay Motivated:
I get a lot of motivation just from seeing how sad and out of shape most of the other people around me are.
BB Accomplishments:
Competed in 2003 at our college show, Mr. EIU

Reading poor spelling or grammar is like watching someone with poor squat form--you understand what the guy is trying to do, but it's painful to the senses.

I've been sidelined by yet another shoulder injury so right now I want to drop a little bit of body fat. Eventually, though, I'm looking to put on a bit of size/even out my weak areas.
I am currently out of commission thanks to a dislocated shoulder. I'm hoping to still at least keep up w/the cardio, and maybe even some lower body stuff, until I'm completely healed. I may end up needing surgery, so it could be a while before I'm back at it full force.
