Background

When I Started: Feb 2010
HOW I STARTED:

I've been active all my life, but have struggled since graduating from college. I lost a bit of weight a couple years ago but was derailed by IT band syndrome. Trying to get back on the wagon and into fighting shape!

WHY I LOVE IT:

I LOVE being stronger.

WARRIOR!

Woohoo! After finding out about the Warrior Dash, I asked a few friends if they'd want to join me for the one in New York in September, and less than 24 hours later I have 3 definites and 1 maybe! Hopefully we will sign up soon and then it's time for me to figure out what I need to do to get in Warrior butt kicking shape.

Pumped!

I've had a cold kicking my butt all week and so I've been totally off track with my workouts since a. I can't breathe very well, and b. I don't want to spread my germs to everyone at the gym. So I've just been trying to walk a lot and stay on track with food. Now I'm feeling much better and ready to get back into the gym and kick butt. And as an added bonus, I realized this morning that my pants the past 2 days have been noticeably looser! I've been a little frustrated with not seeing any real results in the 5 or 6 weeks I've been at this, so to notice my pants fitting better is a great feelin...

First post :-)

I just joined yesterday after a few days of reading posts here on bb.com. Currently trying to kick the (TMI) mucus-y, snotty, hacking, tail end of a cold and get back into the swing of things. However, that cold and the prospect of rain ruining my upcoming ski weekend, I'm feeling a little down in the dumps. Here's hoping next week brings better things.
