I got started in July with some lifting in my apartment complex weight room. I had worked out in the past, but not with much consistency.
Now I've been doing it for about 3 months!
An acquaintance inspired me to get back into it. He suggested a 30 day habit forming routine, which I've just completed successfully.
Why I Love It:
I couldn't say that I loved it, at first. I actually HATED getting up at 5am! After my 30 day habit forming period, however, I can finally say that I do now enjoy getting up early for my "Iron Breakfast"
Now I'm getting up at 4am! :)
How I Stay Motivated:
Thinking about my new body and what I'll be able to do with it, is one of the biggest things that is motivating me right now. That, and already seeing visible progress.
BB Accomplishments:
Not exactly a BB accomplishment, but I ran my very first 5k on 9/15!!
Forum Signature:
My workout sessions are so vicious, so auspicious, and so clankalicious!

Man, I just want to look good without my shirt on.. :)
Goal (Long):
I'm interested in adding just a little more bulk to my frame, and cutting it all up at the same time. I've been working out for 3 months now, and started out at 185lbs. I'm currently at 205lbs. I have a somewhat athletic physique, but want super muscle definition and size.
I'm 36 years old and have just become a first time dad! I realize that I need to stay in top shape to keep up with all the kids that I want to have :) I've also, always wanted to have a muscular physique.
I would like to have some well defined muscle, including a set of washboard abs.
Love his dedication to excel in his disciplines, and givin' all the glory to God! I used to run track and play football also (in high school) and wish I had this kind of passion. I'd be retired from the NFL and filthy rich by now! Haha
But... I'm not to old to get THIS ripped and swole though, man! ;)
Well it's been a year and two months since I was supposedly "back" the first time. LOL
The gym... consider that done man. I acknowledge that I'll never get back in there, maybe ever now and then on a guest pass! But I've realized that a gym membership is no longer practical...
HEY, how's the training and family doing? Looks like you need to throw some update and stats up on your page, LOL!! Doing good here, losing weight little by little.
Hey Michael! How are you and the new family doing? it's been a really long time since we chatted...bet your little one isn't so little anymore! lol Hope your having a great weekend! TTYS
