Just wanted to get back into shape

I like the increased energy that I have, the stress relief it provides and the added mental clarity that it seems to bring as well.
How I Stay Motivated:
I don't want to be so out of shape that I can't play soccer w/ my daughters and toss the pigskin to my sons...besides there are way to many "fat' people in the world and I"m way to vain to let that happen to me
BB Accomplishments:
It seems to me that the amount of weight lifted is going up and the waist line seems to be getting smaller, more importantly and this is really cool; I put an extra 25-40yds on my drives...to bad they aren't straight, but when hey are it's an awesome thing to watch.

Ok boys and girls,

 I most certainly have been bitten by the bug of sweat, caluses, and tired muscles at the end of the day, but to think my body is starting to look better than back in the days of swimming lap after endless lap in the pool 10 months out of the year, that was 25 years ago,...

I really have no idea of what I'm doing or if I'm doing it correctly.

I may goals are to increase strenght & muscle mass along with noticable muscle definition, and decrease the overall fat content in my body.

I usually start out with Cardio of 20 - 30 mins on the Oliptical...

Looks like we joined bb.com about the same time. I just posted my progress pics. Body fat went from 23% to 19% and I weight 2 lbs more than when I started. I guess thats muscle? Your workout progress would reflect time for new pics!! Have fun...

You guys are going to some neat places!! I would check with the ship and see if they have guided tours to most places. You won't spend your limited time wandering around like a tourist!! (definitely make it to Pompeii...) Oh yeah, the Vatican has a dress code. The Almafi coast is Gorgeous!! Limoncello...yum!!

So where in Italy? What do you guys like to do? You can never go wrong with the typical; "touristy" places like Rome, the Vatican, Pompeii, places like that. Pisa was OK nothing spectacular. Anything in Southern Italy (south of Naples) is awesome. Tuscany also cool. But the FOOD!! OMG...fantastic! Forget the diet...enjoy your trip with some of the best wines, cheeses, pasta, ect. Plan for pretty chilly evenings...and it's possible it could snow in northern Italy!!

We are just polluted with turkeys around here now. Last fall there had to be at least 80 in one of my back fields. Took my buddies 13 year old nephew out last spring and he bagged his first bird at just over 23lbs. We spoiled him now I think!! lol They are introducing a fall hunt here next year as well.

Just once I want the chance to be serious about going after a bull in full rut that I've called in to close range. There's nothing more exciting than a close encounter with them when they are pissed. I do it now for fun but I want that adrenalin rush of actually taking one with my bow at about ten yards.

I know it's not black but.... lol This is from about 6 years ago before I started working out. Ya we have lots of moose up at the my cabin. Couldn't get a bull take if I bribed someone though with the unfair draw system they have up here, Grrr!!! Have to settle for a calf all the time.

Real men shoot recurves!! lol I've got three recurves at the moment. The one in the picture is my 55lb Grizzly. I have a 65lb superkodiak and a 45lb magnum. Gotta love them!! What do you shoot?
