My husband has worked out lifting weights for as a long as I've known him. And after having two kids, and LOSING 30lbs (I got lucky); I thought it was time to start taking care of my body!!
Why I Love It:
Working out makes me feel so energized, even on my laziest of days. I also love the changes I'm seeing from working out!!
How I Stay Motivated:
By reading magazines like Oxygen, and going on Bodybuilding.com. I love seeing seeing other woman, and how they've trasformed their bodies. Then I know it's possible!!

I never used to care a whole lot about my body.  In fact, during highschool/college I gained over 30lbs.  Then I got married, and had two kids all within 3 years.  I was quite lucky to actually lose all my pregnancy weight, PLUS pre-pregnancy weight.  I then realized it was time for me to take advantage of already being smaller, and decided I would start working out to create a leaner me.  I still have another 10-15lbs to lose, and would like to tighten up my tummy as much as I can.  I am also working on a firm, round bum!!

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
If friends & family are supportive, then for sure tell them about your goals, and ask them to help you stick to them.Also, get on a website like this to keep up your inspiration & motivation.

Naw, I need cardio! I tried to limit it for a few mths around say March-April. Hardly did it. My abs stayed tight! But my backside was a little less firm. How are you doing?

oh i hear ya sister... you know me... four weeks doing really great and now i've been struggling for a week. i am just determined that this time i am not going to go a whole four weeks struggling again. i just found a book i really want to buy that looks promising but my hubby has to okay the fundage. i hope things are okay with the family. :( i miss hearing from ya!

ew yeah, i was awful when i got stressed at work... i'd want to get out of the office for lunch just to get away and the only place to go was like walgreens or the gas station and i'd inevitably buy a big ol chocolate bar or (well let's just say more...) it was awful. now at least i can go for celery or popcorn since i'm at home. hubby fight would send me to the peanut butter jar though :) pm me if you need to talk for sure!

i do think i'm getting more muscle shape, but i have 2 weeks to the beach... i WANT CUT NOT SHAPE RIGHT NOW!!!! shape i can work on in thew inter ya know! i guess i'm ganna have to cut the cals back for the next two weeks... it's hard because i only sleep four or five hours and so my day is long to spread cals any lighter. :(

this is the first time in my life that i have done everything perfect all week long and then had my day on saturday or whatever and back on track like this... and not seen the progress every week. i don't know if my nursing is effing with things or i'm getting older, or just my cals may be too high. i am doing 2000 which seems like a lot but with nursing i think i need that much. and it's all clean, so...

i swear God just made you and i carbon copies and stuck you in canada hoping we wouldn't figure out that he made two women so similar. haha ;) i have been SO good with just once a week cheats and then yesterday i did my measurements and weight again and i got PISSED OFF when they didn't change (i swear i see some changes and my mom does too so wtf!!!!) but then i blew it in anger... cuase ya know... that's ganna make it better. ugh!

oh yes that's exactly what it's like. and like i don't know about you but my perception is effed up. i like to play a game called "what do i look like?" with my hubby and my mom when we go to really big crowds because i have NO idea anymore. i do feel like i've put on some muscle since i had brady which is nice, but i want my clothes to still fit and they BARELY do.

i don't understand why i'm not looking better than i am right now because i am pretty much doing exactly what i did for the wedding but i do think that it is SLOWLY comming back. hopefully i have a nice pic to put up at the beach in two weeks! i have been SPOT on six out of seven days for like three or four weeks now.

i can never decide if it's better to eat REALLY BAD just once a week or a little bad 2x. i think a little bad 2 is better because it's much less bad than i can pack into 1 day when i do it right, but if i'm not careful i end up with 2 really bad days! ugh!

much better lately. i've been spot on with my diet sunday through friday and cheating just saturday. i admit it's REAL bad on sat but at least i got it down to once a week... but we go to the beach in two n a half weeks so i'm trying to keep it to smaller treats twice instead of such a huge one a week for a cple weeks. i am back to only 2 pds from wedding weight now! ...go us!

i know what you mean. i'm not on the pill (birth control) and i'd thought about taking it to control my hormones so i didn't eat so bad at that time, but most of my friends said it amde them gain weight. i was on anti depressants a few years back when my mom and i were fighting and they made me gain weight though... always a struggle! lemme know what the doc and you decide! i just got my computer back AGAIN.
