When I Started:
Aug, 2008
How I Started:
I want to lose body fat. After discovering that excessive cardio was not working, I did some research and discovered weight training. Now I'm a lifting fanatic.
Why I Love It:
I love how strong and powerful i feel when I'm lifting. I feel happy and proud of my body while I'm working out. I love seeing the jealous looks other women give me in the gym. I also love how all the prissy women shoot me nasty looks when I make weird faces and grunt when I'm lifting. It's hilarious!
How I Stay Motivated:
I think of all the success stories I've read and I keep in mind the amount of time and patience it took for them to reach their goals.
You don't need to tell me about coming from nothing, because I know.
Goal (Long):
I've have always been somewhat ashamed of my body. I'm athletic, but by no means slim and toned. I've done so many cruches I probably have 6 pack abs, but I can't see it because there's a layer of fat covering it. Overall, I want to get down to around 105 pounds and around 15% body fat. I want to be completely toned and firm and slim all over. Total body fat loss. I also want to be able to increase how much I can lift until the point of failure -i want to be able to make the men looks stupid in the weight room compared to me.
Weight Goal:
I want to LOSE 11 lb
Bodyfat Goal:
15%

i know how you feel. just like weighing yourself, it may feel like you're not losing as much as your want, but you'll definitely see it on the measuring tape! good luck with your challenge too!
it took me almost to week5 & 6 to see noticeable results.
its hard to see the results on yourself. take pictures and measurements at the beginning of each week and compare them as the weeks go on. you'll see the proof.
