I have always worked out off and on through my life and played lots of sports. I have become more interested in transforming my body and possibly trying to compete in a competition in the future. I constantly begin workouts and then stop a few weeks later... this time im sticking to it!!!

This is me just starting out...142lbs 5'6".... too high BF%
One month into my workouts and healthy eating 136lbs
I want the body I feel I deserve!!! I am hoping I can train myself hard enough over the next year that I can enter a fitness competition for the first time.
thanks for the great comment!! I'm a relative "newbie" when it comes to lifting, but I'm hooked! Scivation has been a HUGE help with my nutrition and training... they're a great resource!

well thank you, i plan to compete in a year as well. and thank you for the compliment that was taken awhile ago i have to get a new one up, but have been slackin lol. where do you plan on competing?

You can accomplish your goals with a patience and dedication. More important than working out is a consistent diet. Thats the best advice I could give. good luck and I look forward to your progress.
As a fellow Canadian I just thought that I would drop by and wish you all the best. If you are looking to lose weight and also get into great shape it is best to follow a proven program. I lost over 50 lb’s and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat and my wife (bodyspace: judimax) went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 in only 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. Push yourself, possibly out of your comfort zone and you may be amazed at the results and how fast they happen.
