Overall Goal: I want to get back into shape. I want to be able to be on the fireground and run circles around others, and have people say, "Damn, that's a damn good firefighter." Not - "Damn, she's a good firefighter for a woman." I want to get to the top of my ga
Fit Status:
No running.... doctor's orders.... Uggg!
I started getting in shape and was working out like a mad woman, 5-6 times a week... Lost 35 lbs and was really starting to see results. Then I got accepted to medic school. I worked out twice during the 16 month school... So back to square one. It has taken a couple of months, but once again - I am motivated and getting back into the swing.
Why I Love It:
I love seeing the progress and the feeling of turning back the clock and feeling young again!
How I Stay Motivated:
Music... Good workout music. I also take various exercise classes at the local YMCA.
BB Accomplishments:
Just working out daily again - I know that sounds simple, but it is the first step. I hope this leads to the next step. Then it's time to stick to the diet plan. Hopefully keeping motivated and once I start seeing the benefits - to stick with it!

Goal (Long):
I want to get to 155lbs, and increase the percentage of muscle. Decrease my waist size and actually see abdominal muscle definition. I want to be able to build my cardiovascular fitness. I want to physically look strong as well as be strong. I want to decrease my %fat and increase %water. I want to build a program in which I can stick to easily with my profession which is caotic at times!
So I had an issue when I was running 5 miles the other day. At the fourth mile, my right knee beganto hurt so I limped in the last mile. It was sore for two days. Then nothing for two weeks. But this past week I have periods of stabing pain behind the knee cap. It begins to hurt for no reason...
