After having my second child I was weighting in at a hefty 200 lb. I hated the way I looked and felt so I joined a gym. It took me about 6 months of just sitting on my butt before I really got started. At first I just went in a did my 30 minutes of cardio every day weather I wanted to or not. I also tracked everything I ate using a program from Calorie King. Once the pounds started dropping I expanded my my fitness routine to taking some lift and yoga classes every week along with my cardio. I have been stuck in on plateau for about a year so I changed up my routine and started lifting a lot more. I increased my weight and decreased my reps. I also started eating a lot better. I am already starting to see the difference and I feel great!
Why I Love It:
So , so many reasons. I love feeling strong and sexy. (don't we all) I love having the sore mussels the next day and remembering that I am doing something good for myself and improving my quality of life.
How I Stay Motivated:
I love it.
BB Accomplishments:
I lost over 50lb.

I was kind of sort of thinking of a tattoo when it was all said and done too. You know that 15% is not that hard to get to at all. You will be there before I ever get close. Good luck to you.

Thank you for your kind words. It's been real tough, but as they say "time is the best healer" - and it's so true. Doing a little better each day. He was so much more than "just a dog" to me. For almost 16 years, he was basically the center of my universe. I miss him so much. On a much brighter note: How's things with you? Anything new and exciting in your life?
