I got started with my high school's power lifting team, and I've kinda floundered around since graduating high school
Why I Love It:
I am loving the energy I get after a few days of good lifting, and the healthy feeling when I am exercising. I also want to have the 'beach body', but for myself. I hate being that guy.
How I Stay Motivated:
Look in the mirror. Seriously, I want to go home for Xmas and shock everyone with looking better, and just go from there.
To lose weight and get back in shape. High school jean size, 36, and looking good in general.
Goal (Long):
I was always active and in shape in high school, even a member of the high school power lifting team. Then college hit, and bad relationships, and good relationships. I have slowly grown in fatness till I hit a high of 344 pounds in the Fall/winter of 2007. That was a eye opener. I have lost about 20-30 pounds in the last 2 years, but I am ready to Kick it in the ass, and HTFU. Enough excuses, enough of wallowing in self pity. I have a wife I need to be here for now, not dead in the ground.
