How I Started:
I was very active in college and have committed this year to transforming my body into something I enjoy living in.
Why I Love It:
Working out gives me clarity of mind and thought. When I get done working out and the fog clears and the burning starts to subside, I feel that my mind is sharper. Also, in a job where I often feel like I make little progress, I can go into the gym and accomplish something.
How I Stay Motivated:
Vanity. I want to feel good about how I look. My wife is in spectacular shape and I want her to enjoy looking at me. When I look in the mirror in the morning and I see how age is affecting my body, I am motivated to make time in the day to get to the gym. Also, I have found if I schedule the time on my calendar every day and leave it there for people to see, they do not try and have me do things during gym time. This is not so much a motivator as it is an enabler.
BB Accomplishments:
To date, I do not have any major accomplishments. I am strictly a personal fitness person. I have not had any real drive to compete.
